Why don’t authors include a cheat menu?

I’d prefer an author added cheat code than people altering it themselves as itd be easier to track and adjust the code.

I saw now one in Lost Heir thanks to the annisvary and now there is one in Blood Money and Crème de la Crème too so maybe there is going to be a change at this department?
