He’s fun to tease though
I feel like they should’ve described that better than that but in my experience and it could no longer be a problem
but when I played it a month or 2 ago it did seem a little railroaded as in it kinda forced your character to be nice or the brooding hero type at least
I mean I personally like choice games because you be can be the villain the evil antagonist because once you play enough or watch the same
“the hero struggles and loses then the hero finally wins and then against all odds the 17 year old hero beats the thousand year old warrior who would have trained and become a master of pretty much anything but is somehow defeated by a young adult who barely has any experience and if they do they have a year of training at most”
Their is some that are different but the majority are like that
And from what I remember the game kinda makes you follow the general vide of that could be me remember wrong I am currently going thru the game again so I will edit this if I did remember wrong
And they could just not like the characters and that could be the reason tho I feel it’s kinda weird to play a game where you don’t like that characters but who knows except him
That is not to say the game isn’t good I enjoyed it the first time I played it tho the railroading was kinda annoying (and railroading means forcing a person in a choice game where choices matter go down a path that they can’t change)
Not the actual description but general meaning of the word since you seem not to know what it means not to be rude I don’t mean to it just seems like you don’t know what the word is from your previous post
A good example would be forceing you to side with the hero’s and not the villain without a reason it the story as in “I will join for the right of all and for the meaning of chivalry” stuff like that even tho your character has Ben incredibly stoic and devious(thru the players decisions)that is a forced dialogue would be railroading
Edit: I have posted on this forum before so I looked at it I played the game 4 months ago apparently and yea I remember what I was thinking when I was playing the game
That being that the personality was forced to be hero like
I described it way better in my first post but I don’t want to rewrite it so if you want a better definition of what I mean look at my old post
Why thank you for your kind gesture in explaining what he could have meant. I know what railroading means but it came up randomly without much context so I thought he meant something else.
Well MC in knight academy so you can’t be too evil or you may get expelled from academy.
Beside the premise of ancient giving Chikara to MC to fight unknown otherworldly threat it is count as a pact so while MC can be devious, power hungry, selfish and egoistical in a way the worse they can go is neutral which sometimes MC need to do good, MC cannot go Evil alignment.
Fair enough
Like I said could be wrong but I assume that’s along the line of what he meant and alright I assumed that you didn’t because you asked if it was another game so thought I’d add the explanation
Just a reminder, wisdom doesnt correlate with age especially from complacency types or become complacent over time.
Youth can surprise elders, and do so, especially outdated vampire elders.
Certain vampires, dont know how to not draw attention from FBI.
Its not that difficult to avoid dealing in illegal blood trading if wise. If the Prince has the connections and resources anyway.
Did you mean to post on this forum??
Because it seems like you meant to post that on a vampire wip not a… well this one
@jjc73
Its what you posted earlier. It didnt link to that did it?
Youth vs older people and vampire stories do a lot of it
Don’t sweat it. You didn’t commit a crime or offend anyone. If English wasn’t my first language and I didn’t understand, you would have come in clutch with the definitions. I appreciate the effort.
I personally think the “railroad” is simply required story beats. If the story doesn’t involve us having the option to “turn evil” or whatever, it’s a pretty light railroad. There are several “open world” WIPs and releases that basically give you the freedom to do what you want in the story’s world. Not all games are like that.
But I’ve played Heroes Rise to completion, so maybe my perspective is just corrupted. lmfao That game is just one giant railroad.
Heroes Rise series is the authors idea of a heroic superhero or dastardly supervillian. Grey line exists that are not important enough to be considered heroic but ARE.
That abuser can never create new or harm previous victims, cause death. I consider them heroic for ending the abuser.
Rather throw him out a window.
Alright I thought I’d clarify since a lot of writers have English as a second language
On another note have you considered making the push-up button in the 100 push-up trial training in the middle instead of the begging so when the half push-up becomes a option you have to press the push-up button instead of it being a default.
And is their a reason to continue after the first 100 push-up or?
I can’t remember if we can pick our skin color or not
Nope. MC is Altean by default
I honestly saw the more than 100 push ups as a joke and we could do them until we just get bored, but it would be cool if there was an event if you keep going with the push ups
Sure. I’ll work on adding that.
I love you bro
Man… you are the best
