The questions could stand to be a bit clearer, but honestly, that’s about it. It was pretty surprising to have to give an entrance exam in an IF novel, and I think its pretty cool.

Hello everyone! I’m currently working on adding another gender choice for those who may not like the MC being gender locked, so look out for an update in the demo.
I have also drawn inspiration from a kung fu style hosted game, so there will be much incorporation of martial arts and different fighting techniques you can use. I would also be pleased if you guys have any ideas on what you’d like to see, any systems you would to be put in place. Feel free to state what you would want to be added in this type of game. I already have a plan, but I would definitely be open to your suggestions amd implementing them. Thanks you.

Hey everyone! Just a little update on the update lol.
I added a female gender choice and added some new things to the stats menu. I tweaked the story a bit and added a few more choices and what not. I’ve also updated it with chapter two and coded my first battle system.
I never thought coding would be fun but with choicescript everything is fun. I hope you guys will be able to have a blast with the story as much as I am.
Oh, I’m fixing up some loose ends before I add the link with the update, so look out for another reply if you wanna see it. Thanks.

Oh my bad. That’s the old link in the OP. I haven’t updated the new link with the changes as yet, but I’ll upload it today.
For some reason it seems you can’t edit your posts after a day or so. Otherwise I would just put the updated link in the OP rather that down here.

I updated your original post to be a wiki. You should be able to edit it now, regardless of user level.
That is the issue. Once a person reaches level 3, all new uswer editing restrictions are removed by the system.

Ya. We’ve been asking the system software people for a solution to this for years, but they don’t seem to prioritize this request.
The title will remain uneditable until you reach level 3, so if you do need a change there, please contact a leader or request a moderator to help and we’ll update the title as needed.

Just realized I might really need to add a save system after doing a couple playthroughs. I apologize if you have to be starting over after a bad choice. I’ll work on adding a save feature, or that checkpoint thing I saw in Life of a Mercenary.
