is the second part out yet?
On this play through i tried to stay under the radar, trying not to leave any evidence… failed…
Municipal Police: Minor Suspect, Felony (Homicide) - (name)
I’m not sure which one of the “disposed” I’m a suspect for… not sure if it would work well but could it be possible to add the name of the deceased beside each murder felony?
Well with minor suspect it sounds like the police just know you had a motive, nothing more. I presume you do have an obvious motive for whomever you killed, but since I’m not lucky enough to be a playtester that’s just an assumption on my part.
@akatsuki9344 for non playtesters, the preview is as far as you can go until the end, but if you’re a playtester you should be able to get beyond that.
@DreamWalker I think no matter what, unless you’re very lucky and lean on the side of not going after and disposing of anyone, you’ll end up as a suspect for something.
@DreamWalker it is possible to not get any suspicion… but you have to do very little, which takes the fun out of the game! Being a gangster isn’t supposed to be legal!
@Redgrave,lol yea that don’t sound fun…
@13ventrm, on the other hand a little bit of gloating now and then is good fun and would presumably make my characters that choose that option feel more badass, though I too doubt I’ll choose the option for my main character still that’s what multiple backgrounds and replays are for if you ask me.
Out of the four faction options (Ginelli, Chuck, Dino and solo) which is your personal choice?
My gut tells me to go solo(because if you can’t stand on your own two feet, you shouldn’t be standing at all). But my brain says Ginelli( with having serious mussel behind you, the world will bend before such power) <)
I bet Fishetti has some serious mussels too!
I’m a fan of the “Godfather-esque” feel that the Zagnais gang has, if only Dino wasn’t such a freaking idiot then it’d be near perfect in my eyes.
Ginelli sounds like a pretty decent option to, though I wonder whether the higher-ups will like one of their minions having as much influence and money as some PC gather by the end of Chapter 2.
I just don’t like Chuck, plain and simple. Unless some great “tragedy” befalls him I think he’s so powerhungry that he’s gonna wanna keep you under his bootheel as much as possible.
As for lone wolf, well like the game says any character that goes down that option has “some” Coglioni. And if you’ve made inroads in the bootlegging business I reckon it’s gonna be hard to keep Ginelli off your back without anyone at all to back you up (except maybe the good Miss Vitanza
).
@Nocturnal_Stillness I like Chuck most. He’s family, and he was at least slightly sorry for Gina’s death.
Ginelli will want you as a minion or scapegoat, keeping you beneath him at all times and shoot you in the back if you get uppity. He doesn’t offer much other than a good source of double bladed protection.
Dino’s not bad, but he’s too dumb and ambitious. He’s probably gonna try and kill me later on and take over, or try to pull off an impossible crime and get me arrested it killed. There’s plenty of dumb muscle to be found elsewhere in Chuck or Ginelli’s mobs and gangs.
Solo… Well, appealing, but unless I’ve got a good number of minions that won’t work.
Chuck’s perfect. He’s got a sizable gang, he’s got good, paying jobs, and he has promised to leave you his gang when he dies. I’m the only family he has, if I read correctly, so if I play my cards right, it will be in both of our interests to keep each other alive.
Of course, all of this information is bases other demo chapter two from last year, when it was still open to all. I had been lurking around for a while.
@Wyrmspawn I agree with you about Chuck. The family connection doesn’t seem to matter too much to him when you turn his job down, though.
@Wyrmspawn
It’s interesting what you say about Chuck; he does have sizeable gang that could easily expand and become a major player with someone ruthless enough at the helm. However:
-
We know Chuck intends to hold on to his power until his dying breath and that is most certainly not ideal for our character.
-
So if you tried to “displace” him all those loyal to him would come down on you like a ton of bricks.
- so the only way to seize power from him is if he suddenly dies or pisses off someone big enough that he paints a target on his back alone, and not that of his entire organisation. -
If that then happens there are probably people in his organisation just as ambitious as the PC who will try and seize power regardless of the old man’s wishes, who would either need to be knocked into line or put into an early grave.
So under the correct circumstances and I’d imagine with some very high Awarness, Intimidation and most importantly Leadership stats, it might infact be the best option.
I’ve got really bad perception, I’m a union guy. But while I can’t intimidate people, I can always sweet talk them over to my side. Leadership’s not too bad either.
@Wyrmspawn you might be better at trying out the “Street Gang Leader” or “WWI Vet” then cause, not only are you going to have to be able to spot betrayl, but you’re going have to beat anyone who stands up to you either into submission or into the dirt (which in hindsight might require some Coglioni); unless you’ve got a tounge like Caesar I see problems in your Union Organiser’s future.
Personally, I just can’t make myself go by myself. I feel like this early in the game most of the time, it helps to have some extra backup somewhere.
I love the story and can’t wait for more. I really loved the pictures and descriptions you used. It reminded me almost of The Outsiders/Gungrave.
