It wears off and is addictive last I checked it more specifically the power it gives is addictive.
Seems like it also unlocks the lightning ability if you are an elemental mc so I suppose that can be considered an upgrade. Correction lightning can be evolved without the drug as commentor below pointed out I tend to not always test every possibility lol.
The lightning can be gained without taking the drug!
So to answer my own question I did a test, I remembered that as a Superstrength hero we have a option to use a machine that measures the strength of our punch, and the result is 192,645 psi with or without taking dozer. Then yes the boost wears off, thanks to everyone who answered me.
How?
Play as an MC who have elemental powers and when Thaumathurge offers the drug during your fight with him, refuse but stand up to fight him
@MahatmaDagon Would y’all consider adding new powers as dlcs after this game releases in the future? I got a few ideas for the powers if it became possible.
Shapeshifting
Very similar to the animal kind of shapeshifting where you start out with some basic animal forms (wolf, cat, bird, snake, etc) and as you level up, you can get bigger, more improved forms, possibly even prehistoric and mythical types of forms in the future like Lion, Tiger, Bear, Rex, Trike, Raptor, Griffon, Dragon, Manticore, Phoenix, Badger, Dire Wolf, Mammoth, Roc, Basilisk, etc. And also being able to start with regeneration that you can improve to be on par with Wolverine’s and Deadpool level of regeneration or close to it and an alternate shapeshifting variant where it’s Symbiote type so instead of the animal forms, it’s replaced with abilities related to the Symbiotes from Marvel since their powers usually includes shapeshifting to some degree.
Technokinesis
A tech based power centered around being able to manipulate any forms of technology freely to where it ranges from transforming a toaster into a pistol or rifle depending on how much of it’s material you’re able change to making a whole Power Armor/Suit like Iron Man, going for a Batman type of playstyle by making a specialized Armored Suit or making a Battlesuit that could look like one of these two images. (These images also could be used for the Power Armor/Suit variant)
You could also go for a more hacking type of tech powers, a power similar to telekinesis to some degree as according to Technokinesis or just include all of them in the other power variants I mentioned.
Omnipotence
A almost godlike power that can have you start with being able to open portals, teleport, levitate objects, enhance yourself or your allies among other abilities. Then eventually getting the power to alter/warp reality, creating a black hole, manipulating matter, density and gravity, creating countermeasures against time-related powers, infinite knowledge, resurrections, creating a pocket dimension where you’re able to create anything and altering the cosmic laws of the universe. Basically God Mode.
System
You get a system similar to those series of MC with a cheat-like system that helps them. Depending on your choices, it can range from being a game-like system that gives you abilities and items related to a fantasy, sci-fi or other genres to becoming a system that focuses on the modern world and only give you abilities and items related to the current world you’re in. Therefore, it’ll have a lot of potential depending on what kind of system you want.
Magicology
Being able to learn and cast spells that could either make you similar to Doctor Strange, Doctor Fate and Raven or make you the typical Mage or magic related class or species from a fantasy world. Either way, you’ll have access to a lot of different types of magics and the source of those spells could determine what kind of mage you’ll become. You could become an Elemental Mage, Dark Mage, Necromancer, Demonic Sorcerer, Holy Caster, Battlemage, Magic Knight, Cosmic Wizard, etc. You could also even change your species into a magic related species like Dragons, Phoenixes, etc. You could also even go as far as to combine Magic and Technology to make Magitech or whatever for different or alternate ways to using spells and solving problems.
I know this is annoying to read this so sorry for the inconvience.
The System would be really interesting to interacting with the universe
I would be so down for a DLC where you coul fully explore what it means to be a third level enhanced human (i forgot the name lol) and going full God mode against all “threats”. Tho i’d assume that the fight against the big baddie would end rather quickly lol
Zarkrai, I swear half the comments I see from you any WIP about superpowers involves you talking about adding new powers with DLCs.
Do you have an obsession with DLCs my friend? Just let the games be a one-time purchase, please, my wallet cant handle this.
I’d say it’s also disrespectful to the authors but it’s not my place to say.
Guys, call it a hunch, but for some weird reason, I think that the next update will be a lil biggy. I just have that feeling.
Unironically this is one of the few cape shit games on the website that deserves sequels and dlcs.
Hell with how good the game is this is one of THE best I’ve seen in general
I mostly suggest dlcs to games I like. Some of them I don’t suggest any even when I like it cause I either don’t have any idea for them or it feels enough for me. And the reason why I keep suggesting them as dlcs is because it seems more likely for the authors to do it in that way later on since I can’t suggest them to add it in the current version of their WIP when doing that would delay it’s release even further and most authors wouldn’t want to increase their workload unless it was something that they really like.
If the authors of Unsupervised did add some of the powers I suggested. I think the ones they would’ve picked is Technokinesis and Shapeshifting but with Shapeshifting to a lesser degree. Maybe they would add Omnipotence only as a way to add Cheat Mode/God Mode as it’s own power instead of making the MC capable of using all the current powers in the main game. Though I can see them doing God Mode that way too.
Now that I think about it. I’m a little surprised that no Super Society IF games had ever added Technokinesis before. That would have been a good ability to have in most IF games like those.
I do have a question. About to meet Blair again for second run test, but not past it yet.
The ‘secret identity’ is weird when there is no civilian interpersonal relationships seperate of ID. Exception to that only being Blair.
Rattlebag has nothing to threaten me with upon knowing true name. He can threaten in or out equally. Friends, family, that exist only to my real name? None except Blair, known to exist within story. We make up our own? Then i have no reason to care to hide.
I did not see a point yet.
True question is, our secret ID drops to 0%, who gets impacted in the story itself? The consequence, then why do we not know who they are until after its 0%? If this is tracking, im assuming something is there. Otherwise it matters not? Personally, I dont see it as important at all as an orphan.
Background as an orphan leaves out caring about family interpersonally. As a hero, all matter equally, as a supervillian, none would. I feel if secret ID is important then we are missing interpersonal relations in our civvies.
Reminds me of that meme where a thief breaks into your house to steal money and you go ‘lmao I’ll look with you’
Alternatively
I’ve just sent a 33k update mostly focused on the consequences of villainous actions. If you don’t plan on triggering the scene where Red Harry exposes you, you should probably not bother playing the demo again at this point. The heroic content will come later.
But if you do trigger it and are willing to go full villain–or, in some cases, full antihero—prepare to see some major consequences and, hopefully, have some fun.
There are a couple of choices missing here and there, and some paths might end abruptly for now, but the ones that I want to test first are all there. I recommend saving right as you get Red Harry’s report so you can check other possible outcomes, especially if you end up getting one that’s missing.
In particular, these are some of the things I want people to test:
- The overall discussions
- Getting sent to the KEEP
- Going to the KEEP on purpose
- Leaving with Telltale (and taking Ghostling with you)
- Leaving with Ghostling or Derek
- Blackmailing the team
- Facing Chronomancer
There are many variables and moving parts, so expect plenty of bugs, typos, and some placeholders.
As always, reports are very much appreciated!
And, speaking of reports…
Thanks for the ones you guys sent! The bugs you mentioned should all have been fixed in the current version of the game.
(I’ll come back later to reply to everyone who asked questions that haven’t been answered yet)
