I set myself a target of an episode a month, keeps me focused I’m getting sidetracked too easily. (blame getting older and kids :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

I have to agree with @Aleksa100 since we are now the big boss and it would make sense that we’d have a ton of information about both or staff and the facility at our fingertips. It might also be helpful to give a little description page for our operatives with physical description as well as possible useful skills and unnatural abilities which would make choosing for missions a more interesting experience by giving a chance to truly become overpowered. This character description page would also help new players learn the characters as well as giving veterans a chance to become familiar with both the old friends and new faces.

That makes sense and as SCI are a smaller group it should be easier to do. I might even make up some dossiers on the possible recruits. I’ll sort out the stat info tomorrow and post up an updated link before starring on part 2 of the episode

Wow thanks for doing this @Nocturnal_Stillness I’m really grateful that your using my feedback in the game! In response to your question on everyone’s stats I’m hesitant to geuss in the lore stat when characters like Victor and Lakota exist since their specialization in the field of vampires and fae respectfully might be higher than their base lore knowledge. If I could make a suggestion again I’d recommend that you make mention of some special skills like above average knowledge of certain unnaturals or specialized combat skills like scarlets sword skills. In fact this could be added to the MC’s character page as it was in season 1

They each have a specialist subject and Scarlet is close quarters combat.

Ah in that case I’d put Victor, Scarlet, and maybe Craig in the A list of combat. For teamwork I’d give an A to Lakota and maybe Ashley with Lakota also earning an A in Lore due to his magic skills. And in terms of negotiation I’d give the A list to Lakota and possibly Ashley.

Updated the stat screen now. Will work on the three cases over the next three days so should have episode two done by my deadline.

Episode two is bout 16,000 words so far. Need to ask a question.

In the case I’m working on Spare parts involves the player and their partner having to pick a cemetary to stake out. The player has a choice of three currently with only one being the right out, the other two end up being dead ends but gives the player more talk time with their partner.

However as I write it I get the nagging feeling that it effectively gives the choice a “right” choice which isn’t what I want. Would it be better to stick with the one cemetary so the player always ends up the right one. (I suppose I could have the “wrong” graves players gets called to the correct one but have a harder time due to arriving late?)

Will we be given hints where to go or it will be completly rng based?
Well if MC manages to get to correct place in time and take out foes could use time while waiting for evac to chat with partner
tbh im not the biggest fan of choosing between unique dialogue with teammates and gaing bonuses

You are given a description of the cemetery with a bit of background info but that’s it. It’s not random it’ll always be cemetery name. But yeah my thoughts are similar it makes it like only one choice which is bad.

Sigh I’ve written myself into a corner. As Silver Cross Inc is a private group the lack the governmental backing that the SRT had, so at the moment our beloved protagonist and their partner is stuck on the wrong end of the police line as the officer won’t let them passed and I can’t think of a reason why the police would let them pass :frowning:

Well the protagonist and the rest of the SRT have a good connection with the cops and they could be kind of a consultant kind of role in terms with dealing with the supernatural. I could see the cops just letting them through simply because they had a good relationship and the cops trust them and most likely despise the MRU. This would be a logical way around this issue as the NYPD would be more than willing to accept help from any professional group that would make their job easier and this could become a legitimate source of income through a contract where SCI provides the NYPD with agents to consult on Unnatural cases and in future games there could be field offices in cites where SCI has contracts.

What’s the location? Could we sneak by? Do we know anyone who could vouch for us? Can we register as a police psychic and say we’re approved to be there?
