UnNatural Season Two Released 4th May 23

Poll time!

On of the biggest differences in Season Two is the fact the Group you form, Silver Cross Inc is a private organisation with initial funding but then you have to earn additional funds.

As the Boss of the group you get to decide where you put the money.

Now the question is this;

Out of these six sectors, what will your Silver Cross Incorporated consider most important?

  • Armory: the maintenance and aquisition of weaponry.
  • R&D: the research and development of equipment.
  • Unnatural Research and lore: the research into monster lore, myths, legends and scientific studies.
  • Security: Aquisition, installation and creation of security methods, both technological and magical.
  • Facilities: The building, maintenance and designing of various rooms and containments.
  • Training: The training and development of team members.

The results are interesting, a lot of you will be working in smaller facilities at least to start with but a lot of you are priotising security which I’m excited to work into the story. Something to look forward to installing a system where runes are inscribed on every door and window along with a companion mark for your team, if someone opens a door or a window without the mark then they are send straight to the cells and the door vanishes as soon as they step through

Im adding that to the game…

ā€œAren’t you going to up security?ā€ Denzil asks.

ā€œI have,ā€ you point at the sign on the fence.

ā€œWhat?ā€ Riley replies confused. ā€œIs the fence magical?ā€

ā€œWhat? No. Don’t be daft I mean the sign,ā€ you poke the sign for emphasis.

Denzil frowns. ā€œThat’s a sign that says beware of the dog?ā€

ā€œExactly,ā€ you reply with a smug grin.

I’d have to code in a variation for players who romance Denise.

ā€œHey! I’m not an attack dog you know,ā€ Denise says with an adorable pout.

MC (laughing)- True enough love that’s why we keep Jack around though

Sadly Jack would be dead if you’ve got Denise.

Ah dang I forgot well I guess we’ve still got Victor for an Attack Dog then

Hmm maybe he could lose bet and have to put on a wolf costume lol

Ooh just in case no-one has done that path yet try doing the ā€œbadā€ ending to season one or the ā€œbad for SRTā€ ending. Also make sure to chose beta and not to save Alice’s fiancĆ©. Doing so means Elizabeth dies and with Alice dead too you meet two of the new characters for season two Cassandra (bad ass member of the Boston SRT) and Alan (grouch who will give Victor a run for his money - if anyone meets him and likes him I’d be surprised lol) .

Question time folks.

If Victor came to you with a trap that would capture 75% of intruders at the minimum but would have a 95% chance of putting them down for good. Would you want to use it?

Yeah, ill order a whole bunch of em… interlopers shall meet their demise
Well, there is still a possibly of injuring someone who shouldn’t so a double edge sword…

I’m… Not sure those percentages add up or I’m interpreting it incorrectly.

ā€œCaptureā€, to me, sounds like they are alive after the trap activates while the chance of death suggests a final percentage over 100.

I’ll answer as if you said ā€œtrapā€ the intruder with a no, so the unfortunate employee tasked with maintaining the trap doesn’t end up with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, provided they live long enough for it to affect them.

By capture it just means it will stop them the moment they enter and won’t go any further but there is a 95% that they’ll be hurt badly in the process of stopping them.

For trap think like a bear trap it will trap something but will maim them too.

Doesn’t change how dangerous it would be maintaining it though, I’d rather not be loosing employees to maintaining a defence that might not end up being useful enough to make up for the dead employees.

this is Victor’s idea remember and he’s a means to the end kind of guy. I’d refuse the trap myself too dangerous.
