man, one thing i sure like about this game is the ability to build my mc as psychopathic “i dont give a damn about absolutely anything unless its battle (and luka’s coffee)” kind of guy.

I’m still alive don’t worry. I just got busy with work and can’t find the time to write anything. But the main reason for me going silent once again is because when I was reworking the whole story I suddenly can’t think of any ideas.
Right now I’m looking for an inspiration. Don’t worry I won’t be dropping this project anytime soon, and even if I do i will make sure to inform everyone about it. It will leave a bad taste in my mouth to just leave everyone hanging.
Again. I wont be dropping this project anytime soon. I just run into a slump and my undead body is having a hard time getting back up. Lol.

This game is interesting but the grammar and general flow of the story certainly need work. I’m a bit confused on how developed the world is supposed to be; we have smartphones but naval warfare seems stuck in the era of WW2? Large battleships have no place in a modern navy; a modern military ship has to be extremely agile, AA is mainly done by missiles, not guns. Guns with a massive rate of fire such as rail guns are a ship’s last defence nowadays, etc.
Most of the researches are focus on mana and magics so the world’s armaments are like that. Although I did realised that theres an annoying hole in the story with the smartphone bit. Looks like there’s a new item in the list for me to take care of.
Oh by the way the navy is not that modern. They’re still in the pace of debating the effectiveness of aircraft carriers. It’s like back then in ww2 when Japan and US realised the effectiveness of CVs while most of the other countries still focused in battleships.

… with a smile on his face he danced in the crimson rain, swinging his blades in beatiful arcs and sharp turns, like a maestro controling the orchestra of screams, cries and curses. Some tried to flee, some would shout and throw themselves at him and others just stood there, if they were too shocked to move or had just given up hope he did not care. He rained death upon them equally, in the same way their life would spray on him.
Some bothersome mounds littered the ground around him limiting his movements, still he didnt care, he was too concentrated to care. His smile which at first was small and composed, no more than a smirk, grew wider with each passing minute, his expression deranged. Nothing else matterd, in that moment… [ NOISE ]
A loud noise suddenly interrupted his focus, he looked around for a bit, trying to find the source.
Then it dawned on him, his pocketwatch.
Swinging his right arm to throw off the excess blood, he then proceeded to clean the blade under his arm before sheathing it. The other guys just stood there likely not undestanding what was happening, while he, having wiped his hands on the sides of his pants, took out the watch.
Popping open the lid, with his left arm swinging lazily by his side, sword in hand, he look3d at the time. 4 hours in the afternoon.
"Ah " He eloquently and lazily articulated " time for coffee. " He said, still lazily albeit a bit faster, before turning and going back from whence he came, cleaning his other weapon on the way.
The sound of the sound of his wet shoes was the only noise while his enemies stared at him perplexed. No one tried to stop him.

I’d like to pop in here (as I rarely do) and say that railgun is nowhere has the fire rate of conventional gun cannons. To power a fully operational railgun, you need massive battery and massive generator to power said battery; likely a nuclear-powered vessel. And massive battery takes time to charge without getting into the bad side of electronics (short circuiting, overheat). Even normal tank gun has averagely better firing rate (~ a shot per 10s). Additionally, considering rule of cool, while it’s true that missiles is better AA against aircraft, flak still has place as “area denial” and guns could be used to take down incoming hostile missiles themselves.
I do agree that modern naval combat is likely to involve more strategic ships (long-range railgunner, aircraft carriers) than direct-combat ships. And no ship is so agile it can avoid incoming volley of guns anyway, so range is a more important factor.
