How do you romance the angel
If anyone’s interested, I got Hospitaler Achievement. Here was the basic strategy.
Vitalist specialization
Take Inscrutable boosts whenever possible, except for “seek a ritual cure for Castellan’s Father.” Make sure you take that option.
Take Compassionate boosts whenever possible.
Make as many skill checks as you can (this is how you gain Ascension). You don’t have to be perfect. I actually failed the Therion skill check, and I muddled the Trothane fight. It didn’t matter.
Make a deal with the Dragon King (requires Compassion and high Ascension progress).
Transcend Inscrutable, which now gives you 77 Inscrutable and Personable. You will have 77 Compassionate after making the deal with the Dragon King.
And now you’re a living continent!
I also got Chessmaster (Subtle/Inscrutable). This one’s a bit easier. Start Summoner and max out Quick to Anger and Inscrutable, then Transcend Quick to Anger. You don’t even need to worry about Ascension progress, just cut a deal with Xiphaigne.
This build also lets you knock Trothane’s dragon out of the sky haha.
And I just got Warcaster. This one’s the hardest one so far (Quick to Anger and Ceremonial). You need to start as an Oracle and make deals with both Xiphaigne and Dragon King, then transcend Ceremonial. You’ll just barely hit 75 on both attributes if done right.
When you cut the deal with Dragon King, Xiphaigne will barge into the throne room. Go after her with a warhammer, and make sure you have some Vigor in reserve. You need to finish the accord with the DK to get this achievement.
I’m not sure, but I’m working on it.

Ok guys, I give up. I simply don’t know how you would go about getting the “Dominator” achievement (75 Heavy and Ruthless).
I figured out the trap early on: you want to start as Alchemist rather than Necromancer, because Ruthless boosts are easy to come by, but Alchemist allows a slightly more powerful transcendence boost for Heavy.
But I don’t know what to do after that. The only way to get enough Heavy boosts with Transcendence would be to slack off on boosting Ruthless…but then you get stuck at the end.
Anyone know how it can be done?
Have you figured out any other achievements. I finally earned kalyos kalyonon but the stat achievements, mouser and misling, touched by fire, and good wizard all evade me, even when i followed your guides. Help would be appreciated so i could experience more of this excellent game
I love this game. I’m happy with my ending, vitalist/partial ascension/turned into a tree, but I’m curious to see how the story goes for a full ascension. Anyone have any tips for a full vitalist ascension?

Heya there! I have a question and I hope I get some help how do I save all of my allies? On three of my runs my castellan gets killed, even when I tell different people to protect him. Now my apprentice died. What determines the outcomes? Thanks

I must say, this game is the hardest to get good endings.
It has many different endings - what do you consider “good”? because I got two “positive endings” with my first two play throughs, although they may not have been perfect … …
I mean an ending where noone dies, Harpe isn’t destroyed, and I can make a complete ascension.
One question. How do you romance Dumah? I’ve maxed out compassion, and subtlety, gotten our relationship up to 72%, but he/she still spurns my advances at the meal preceding the story climax.
What am I missing?
Ascension, which is admittedly hard to figure out how to control. You need to seek out lost lore and play the game to win.

Thanks. I actually just figured out how to romance Dumah a few hours ago.
Basically, you need to bind him/her when you first meet. I think she/he also likes high compassionate and subtle scores.

The lower their relationship score, the more likely they are to die
How do you become a demon?
I believe a summoner can do this as a full ascension, with the right stats, or anyone who is able to usurp Xiphagne.

For an ascended summoner, you need to be ruthless.
Does anyone have a guide for this?- I’m trying to usurp xiphagne and also become a continent
You can’t do both, as both are a form of ascension, and you can only ascend once.
I know I’m just asking how to do it
To usurp Xiphagne, you need to make a deal with her, reject ascension, then use the green arrow on her when she comes to claim you as her servant. You want your Ruthless to be as high as possible. I managed a 79 as a necromancer, choosing every (or almost every) Ruthless boost and then transcending Ruthless/Compassionate.
Incidentally, an extremely ruthless and angry necromancer who kills commoners indiscriminately is the easiest way I have found of being beloved by said commoners.
The living continent is the default vitalist ‘perfect ascension’, so just be a vitalist and work towards ascension as much as you can.
