I don’t know… I mean blood mutation could really be something slowly activating in all human kind as a response to supernatural beings being introduced in our environment… that’d be a good explanation for that, expecially since our mutation was the most funcional for Murphy plan but we weren’t the only “mutated” one and it had nothing to do with our family specifically.
Our dad being a supernatural would maybe explain how mom got in contact with agency… but it’s said he was a detective and Unit Bravo didn’t know anything about him, so he couldn’t have been in the Agency because… u know… gossip on workplace.
So if he was supernatural he was standing out in the community(being a public officer) but not part of the Agency. Seems hard to make this work.

I’m hoping that in later books , that at least…we get to know how did Murphy found out about this . Scientist he was…there should be more to him hopefully . Especially since his fate can be ‘free or locked away’ .

…unless the MC’s blood makes it so that they can’t use their own powers, because their blood prevents the effects? Or maybe no one is immune to their powers, even if someone else had the same weird blood mutation?

OR OR OR WHAT IF THE MC CAN USE THEIR POWERS ON OTHER VAMPIRES BECAUSE OF THEIR BLOOD?! OH MY GOD THAT WOULD BE FUCKING HILARIOUS! Imagine if M was being an asshole or A was being standoffish and the MC just used their powers on them like “okay guys I’ve had enough of your crap.”
