No, they’re supposed to not be in a relationship with N if they keep thinking about A and throwing them longing looks. Or, at the very least, they need to tell N about it, so N can make an informed decision on how to proceed.

Yes I am aware but humans also have a choice to nip those emotions as early as possible if they’re in a relationship, better yet, be honest about it to your partner. It’s a choice which you can act on.

Is N not aware in the LT route? I can see the MC not mentioning anything in the beginning, because well, maybe they haven’t figured out how they feel, but I thought both A and N were aware because they argue about MC at certain points?
I guess I don’t necessarily see it as cheating in this case, especially if they both know, because it’s possible to have complicated/unresolved feelings or thoughts for more than one person, without acting on them. Should MC stop thinking about A when in a relationship with N? Probably, but that would come as the romance deepens…and that moment would be the resolution of the love triangle, with the MC choosing one over the other.

From what I heard, that N become more aware in Book 3 I think. The reason why majority thought that the LT will resolved in Book 4.

Im playing the LT route now and tbh N is plainly aware of what is going on he is just choosing to be in denial. For example a screenshot I just did-

in this route I made the mc a total b*** bc that’s the only way I can stomach playing the love triangle haha but N is in a RELATIONSHIP with her at this point and they’ve slept together so yeah overall I dislike this LT and I don’t like cheating and it’s all a mess lmao

N is 100% aware that’s something’s going on in the LT route, both because they would have to be blind or emotionally stupid not to (which they’re not) and since in one of the very last scenes of the book, when N goes to visit MC in their room, they’re happily relieved when you pick the option to tell them “I’m happy to see you” which implies they know you might have been hoping to see someone else cough cough.
Overall I’m not a fan of this triangle, I like both N and A too much and idk they’re really close friends so it makes me feel shitty lol, but I’m glad to know others are able to find some enjoyment out of it

Oh absolutely! Like you can’t control your feelings etc etc, but still keeping it all for yourself rather than being open with someone you chose to start a relationship with is scummy and there’s no two ways about it. One thing is being confused, another is leading someone on and maybe dumping them for the other party in the future

Oh, I know. This is one reason I have such a laid back MC with A–in moments like that, she’s like, “that’s cute” then just rolls her eyes when he pulls back. She’s emotionally intelligent enough to recognize that Adam doesn’t mean to fuck with her head, yet it doesn’t change that that’s exactly what he does. I don’t have the patience she does.
The problem isn’t that F is right about what they say, it’s that they say it when it serves no purpose other than to rub salt in wounds or get people riled up. In M’s route, F is particularly infuriating in the way they constantly poke and prod at M knowing that it’ll just piss M off and put a wedge between them and the MC. This is why Dezh will never be besties with F… he has gradually gotten onto her shit list when M is in the room. She cares about him like a brother, but he’s an annoying little brother whose ass she may have to kick at some point so he learns some fucking manners.
I know, right? There’s also a hell of a training room. Dezh would’ve been in there all the time or out on the roof at night enjoying the stars. She loves the quiet. There’s no way she would’ve been bored. From a professional standpoint, though, I don’t see how disappearing in the middle of kidnappings would work without making the town think the MC deserted them.
My feelings exactly. I still play those routes out of curiosity, but getting less and less interested in them.

Is A’s the only route in which you can get away with snooping on their background?
I don’t know if it was dependant on another factors but both N and M aren’t too pleased to find out you looked them up, whereas with A you can deflect and say you just pieced some stuff together based on the little things they told you and they don’t seem to find out.

I think F sympathizes with being on the “discarded” end of a relationship…that’s partly why they are always calling everyone out for denying their feelings, IMO. In F route, when you discuss past partners, F mentions having had many that went nowhere because none of them wanting more. F moves very quickly on MC trying to solidify the relationship.

My husband is doing the LT with two different MCs: one is a complete dick (he said he can’t stomach the LT with a decent person of a MC) and the other is the type of character Sera seems to prefer, which is a non-combat, flustery, confused wuss who can’t say what she wants because it may hurt someone’s feelings. It’s more fun when he plays the dick. The other character is just so awful, lol.

He won’t care. He has a particular distaste for love triangles between adults (I share it). He said if it was poly, it would be fun to have N and the MC pestering the shit out of A until they give in, but the LT is too uncomfortable. So he has fun playing a dick that uses Nat to make Ava jealous, lol. It’s really awful.
But he plays it because he knows I won’t, but I still want to see what happens, lol.
