The Wayhaven Chronicles: Book One (Discussion) FAQ Located on Post 2

Hey, that’s another good q. Can UB shapeshift?

I’d have to guess that’s a no. If they could, I think N or F would had told us about it during the discussion.

I’m going to have to go with no… Unless it’s kind of like Underworld in that sense, where only the strongest and elderish Vamps can take that one Bat Like form from the 2nd Movie. In which that’d be pretty neat tbh.

Hmm, what was that they said?

A asked something like this

“How did someone so young become a detective” if you pick A to go on patrol with you.

That’s why I said that.

Ah. To me it sounded like they were being considerate.

I thought I missed some old fashioned word/phrase.

Yeah I may had been reading too much into that line but we do know that F is the youngest so I was just curious to who was the oldest.

I didn’t think it was that weird. O.o Assuming the Detective is in their mid 20s or around that mark, they’re pretty young to have such a high rank, especially considering people start working around 21 ish. Besides, they did mean inexperienced.

Also worth noting no matter what we picked at the start of the game, we were kinda shoehorned into our role as a Detective as fast as possible.

I can hear my character mentally now : “Pretty glad I got this job sure, but you could have the decency to train me a little at the very least! God damn!”

Yeah I don’t believe it’s common to see a young detective. Usually they have like more than 10 years under their belt before being promoted to detective unless they have good connections or they were just that good as a regular cop.

Yeah. But A does seem likely to be the oldest, since they’re the leader. But on the other hand, I will be really surprised if the oldest turns out to be N. I doubt it will be M.

Ah thank you but I’m just wondering if their blood being mutated is going to change anything…

Well it already has, as I stated the other day. Murphy seems to have made our bloods effects on Supernaturals even stronger than it already was unaltered.

Which is also why Wayhaven is apparently going to become ground zero for a bunch of supernatural BS in the next books. They may be able to keep our identity a secret, but there’s apparently no way they can keep the info about our blood hidden. Get your pants on, it’s about to get wild. :joy:

Unless I’m misreading this, A is in fact the oldest of Unit Bravo. At least according to this answer in Sera’s tumblr.

It would be interesting to find out what supernatural we would be going up against in the next book.

I’m just hoping Book 4 (Which I’m assuming is the Full Moon one if I’m remembering correctly) Is going to be the book where we have to fight a Werewolf. (Or a pack of them, let’s get crazy.)

So A is the oldest and N is the second oldest. That’s very interesting. I just love getting things right once in a while lol

Well, yes, but I was mostly wondering for when a F!MC has their period. I mean, I know that’s something I would be worried about personally, especially after how creepy UB acts when the MC cut their hand. I mean, a male MC might have to worry about nose bleeds or cuting themselves shaving where a female MC has a time every month where they just bleed. And even if not worried about UB then theres still any other Supernatural that might coming looking for them.

Thinking way ahead of time here but since I mentioned that in my last post, I think that would be insanely fitting for the Middle of the series book to be a pack of Werewolves. Just think about that for a minute, some huge ass thing going down in the Middle book of the whole series and they all have to go one on one with a Werewolf that’s on par with them skill wise.

I want this to freaking happen now.

Hmm… What about the final book villian? There’s a general rule that the villian in the last book or movie in the series has to be the biggest threat that a hero will ever face in their lives.

Well that or it became very personal between the villian and the hero.
