I do think at one point Sera said we might to get have some influence on M’s smoking habits.

You are right of course, I suppose the best option in this situation is to just suspend your disbelief and accept it as a part of this supernatural world. Who knows maybe the agency has some super cigarettes that only effect one person, magical echo world cigarettes.

Doing domestic stuff, I guess. I would love to have N visiting E while she’s taking care of her paperwork, transferring it onto a databank or something. It would be so cute to have N there going “Oh” whenever she explain something. 
Also having TB putting more decorations into the apartment would be so nice. I imagine F entering the apartment, their arms full of stuffed animals. And then introducing them like “This is Carl, and that one over there is Dave.”

Getting Morgan to quit smoking, that really has the most priority for me, to be honest. Also, the moment my detective can just walk hand in hand with Morgan around town or wherever, whilst being certain that Morgan actually enjoys doing so. Also, other variations of public (and not so public) displays of affection.
And I cannot deny that I would really like to make that grumpy vampire jealous when Unit Alpha is present in town.
Then there is also the possible Halloween party, I would really like for that to happen as well.
And, as I mentioned before, I would love for the possible scenario in which Farah and my detective get up to do a lot of mischieve, because my detective really needs to let it goooooo.
@Toco’s comment made me realize that I need for Unit Bravo to practically move in with the detective. That they are sleeping over or staying awake throughout the night at her place most of the week because it is their job to ensure the detective’s safety they simply like to be there and as time passes they actually start making changes in the decoration to suit there tastes and make it feel more like home for them as well. My detective would immediately buy or rent a bigger house/apartment if that meant Unit Bravo would stay over more often, using the excuse that she wanted to live bigger for some time, because you don’t think she would actually admit the truth, right? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SHE WOULD GIVE FARAH HER OWN ROOM TO DECORATE AND DO WITH IT WHATEVER SHE WANTS TO, because that cutie deserves a place to call home and my detective wants nothing more than to give Farah some well-deserved love.
Thereby comes my desire to just get to learn more about the supernatural world and the beings that roam around in it.

MC and Nate at the petting zoo
Summary
After an eventful date at the zoo, the last stop was Wayheaven’s local petting zoo.
MC: “Aww, look at the cute bunnies and puppies!” pets vigorously
Nate: Crouching beside the MC, smiling “Yes, they are indeed very cute.”
MC: “You should pet them too, Nate! Petting cute creatures always makes us feel happy!”
Nate proceeds to softly pet the MC’s head. Gently and lovingly. MC blushes at the sudden contact.
Nate: “You are right, MC. I feel happier already.”
MC: flustered “Wh…what are you doing!”
Nate: “Hmm? I was just doing what you asked me to do. Petting cute creatures. I felt like I should start with the one closest to me.” Nate said innocently, but his smirk is far from innocent.
MC: “W…well, two can play that game!” MC rises and pets Nate’s head, caressing his brown hair.
MC expected his attack would leave Nate flustered, but to his surprise, Nate gently held the MC’s wrist, stopping his relentless assault, and responded with a fatal counter-attack.
Nate : “Ahh…that feels very good indeed, MC. Although I must say, I would feel much more…pleasure, if you would use that hand of yours…somewhere else.” Nate said in a low, sultry voice.
Nate gazes into MC’s eyes with an intensity that the MC felt his knees weaken. It was at this time that the MC realized - that he has picked a fight that he had no chance of winning from the beginning.
Nate: “Well, it seems the zoo is closing. Shall we?”
Nate leads the MC to a secluded spot, and lifts him to his arms in a bridal carry. Before the MC can make sense of it all, they were standing in front of the MC’s house.
MC thought he was safe inside his home, but before he can finish that thought…
Nate: “Let us continue where we left off…MC.” Whispers Nate, in the low tone that makes the MC’s pulse quicken.
Looks like his body will be paying the price for his defeat, MC thought to himself.

I just had a thought about M. Can you imagine the strength of will, or desperation, that it had to take for them to start smoking? Can you imagine how utterly horrible must have been at the beginning? It makes you consider how strong their hypersensed must be to put themselves through that hell, because the other option was worse.

I would actually love to see the shenanigans of UB becaming the detective neightbours.
Like M smoking so much that the fire alarm activate and he is forced to either stay cold with an open window or smoking.
A stayng basically always in the detective apartment and just going back to the UB apartment after the “usual” squarrel with the detective, and having F being all too happy to tease A about it.
N offering to take care of the cute dog of the old neighbour while she is at the ospital, with all the disasters a dog can do.
F becaming the hero of the hyperactive kid of the place who many times almost discover UB secrets, but he is too cute and sweet, and F can’t really leave him to fend for himself, even babysitting him from time to time. Even if UB is not actually sure who is babisitting whom.

We will meet Unit Alpha on Book Two though and according to Sera, we will not see feelings from M until latter parts of the book. Probably other supernaturals perhaps latter on or if we get to meet Unit Alpha again in the future books perhaps. XD

I can spend a lot of time thinking about all the different ways Morgan would try to deal with such feelings. There are so many possibilities, I really like it.
For one, M could deny it all, just ignoring the feelings, shrug them away.
Second, M could grow angrier with every single word the Unit Alpha member utters towards the detective, only for it to end in a full-blown fight.
Thirdly, M cornering the detective and making sure with certain activities that the detective has only M on their mind.
And there are so many more ways I haven’t yet thought about. Ohh, Morgan, how horribly stuck you are in my mind… sigh.
@resuri08, Yes, you are probably right. I hope that if the detective cannot make M jealous in the Second Book the option will present itself in one (or multiple) of the later books.

I think M began smoking back when public stance on tobacco was the opposite (bashing on smokers and bans didn’t start until what, 1990s-early 2000s?). In 19th or early-mid 20th century nobody would look at you twice if you were puffing on a cigarette.
Uhm, how should I put it. Naturally, there are differences between M and your average person, but if M continues to pursue the habit, I think the effects are somewhat the same. With all the harm tobacco and tar undoubtedly bring to smokers body, the thing about taste is… it’s neutral. Strong, but neutral. Billions of people wouldn’t touch it throughout history otherwise, if experience was just absolutely horrible.
That’s the problem with devil nicotine - it feels good even and when you begin noticing that something’s gone badly wrong - it’s usually too late.
And I do not advocate smoking with this post - especially if you’re a minor!

Yeah, but what I mean is, the smell is disgusting for an average human that is not used to it. Now imagine it with M sense of smell. Same with the smoke, how everyone coughs the first time they try to smoke, now picture the same when M feels everything way way more.
We know vampires feel more pain than humans due to this, M the most of them, so that hot smoke going into his lungs must have feel like being burnt from the inside out. I can imagine them bending over in a cough attack that first time, and still relentlessly keep going, since the horrible sensation of it was better than having his senses to the maximum.
To express it better, they can’t even eat bland human food because the taste is overwhelming to them, so tabacco must have been a nightmare to get used to it.

aw well then if not in book 2 then more to anticipate M’s feels build up further on the books… anything having M walls go down for MC is all I’ll be anticipating (especially the cliche love drama)

It feels very different if you’re the one who’s smoking, not nearly as harsh as for other nearby people. Again, I guarantee, people wouldn’t smoke as much if it tasted like crap.
On other points I agree, the first time wasn’t a good one for M. If of course M didn’t start with the habit before they were turned. It could easily be possible, seeing how lots of people smoked and didn’t think much of it before cancer studies shed some light on the situation.

Anyways, I’ve been prowling Sera’s tumblr, like I always do, and found out why Felix and Mason can’t have a Love triangle and little things about Adam and Nate’s love triangle. So I was like, well how about we make it a love ?Pentagon? This comic’s in Mason’s PoV-ish, since Sera said he backs off if Felix’s serious, so what if he doesn’t? I’m forever team Felix, but MASON, dang.
