is not that people are surprised by that but the fact this is so predictable, to be honest, this season reads like a Fanfiction. I supposed this what happens when there is not a book they can leech too.
It’s not just about being unattractive to the king. The queen seems like she at least tolerates Leo and her kids and just doesn’t like us probably because of the infidelity and could be more openly mean to us because the king was gone. This probably means she feared the king even though he hasn’t done anything cruel that I know of except cheating. An attractive queen could seduce the guards assigned to her and make it back to her country and reignite the war or use her attractiveness to get revenge and kill him or something.
I don’t understand why she chooses to bully a little kid instead of an adult who was responsible for this mess, the king, unless she’s powerless to do anything more than attack a child and attractiveness is a powerful weapon.
