What if arrogance isn’t the only thing a character with the power of a “god” can have? What about fear to ourselves?
There are many doctrines that explain a different metamorphosis process from evolution to something “higher.” (It can be spiritual purity, the atonement of sins, the search for knowledge, one more place to ascend in biological evolution, the mastery of the individual spirit, stoicism, etc.)
The only thing common in all these approaches is first the need to abandon everything in the search for something promised, for which many of us have to abandon what we know perfectly well, also the hardships of assuming the changes in our environment and in our spirits in the long term (like the pain and test our resilience and Strength); no matter what; to finally be transformed into something new and “superior” to other people, contemplating that in the end they moved away from the values of the “herd” and then once transformed, seek the metamorphosis of our fellow human beings; either with the diffusion of our metamorphosis or building a new utopia that changes the current situation.
I summarize all of the above in these searches for transformation: in Christianity the search for holiness to be worthy of being children of God, in Buddhism there is the search for enlightenment that frees us from desire, in Nietzsche there is the transformation to “Ubersmench” thanks to the will to seek power and stoicism seeks mastery over ourselves.
These could be good ways to look to develop the MC in god mode. (I say it’s a suggestion).

Well it’s actually a pretty dope suggestion. Mine was more of a reference to the character potrayed in the art work of the comment i answered to(that specific character is the inspiration for the divine arsenal, and in the franchise he originates from he is the epitome of human arrogance) but yeah, I’d really like to deep into the psychological aspects of becoming a de facto god (I’d like it also in normal routes to be honest). We’ll see if the author is up to your suggestion👍🏻

I’m wondering what our god mode power awakening is going to be like. What I have in my head is the entire earth starts shaking earthquakes tsunami’s freak weather like hail and rain appearing out of nowhere the sky going dark all the mutant animals on the planet howling and roaring then us suddenly levitating off the ground and shining with a light so bright it can be seen for miles and none of the others in the room can even gaze upon it but they can feel it the overwhelming power something they can only describe as divine nearly forcing them to their knees and everyone everywhere on the planet can feel something similar if only to a lesser extent until it disappears then everything is silent no roaring animals no wind not a sound as if the entire earth just went silent in fear or reverence Dexter like everyone and everything on the planet would be to frightened to move or even dare to attack just standing there like he witnessed a miracle or a horror beyond his words others would be the same others simply mutter unintelligibly all in fear and shock but the rest of earth is completely silent as a new god has been born and may they have mercy upon the souls of the earth.

Well, I imagine at least that the weight of the revelation of that great power is only in the MC’s head, since what you described can happen if the MC tries the new powers that were granted to him by Mother Nature or Space, or evolution, or whoever wants to attribute it.

I suppose that’s what happened with every other power we just sorta started convulsing on the bed before we get knocked out. But hey what’s the point of a god mode if it doesn’t have unique content id love for our powers awakening to be awe inspiring plus id love to see Dexter in complete shock and horror at something like I described happening if he thought we were a threat before we’d essentially be something beyond his understanding a freak of nature or a nightmare made real he’d want to kill us on the spot but some part of him in the back of his head would be yelling at him to not lay a finger on that “thing” and to get as far away as he possibly can so he’d be stuck between what he wants to do and what every fiber of his being is screaming at him to do so he can’t help but just stand there against his will since his own body is holding him back purely on its need to survive.

Well, I think that would happen for now with Olivia, since she would not be sure of the power of the MC due to the great potential possessed and her brother Dexter could find out by hook or by crook in the future if the MC causes more reasons for hostilities or if Olivia trusts her with that inconclusive diagnosis.

It would be interesting to see ro’s reaction to something like that would they be afraid or maybe they would take a chance to get to know us in spite of the overwhelming power they witnessed and their instincts screaming at them to keep their distance It would be interesting to see Alexis specifically if we have all those other powers but specifically time control what if we were like some cosmic anomaly that she couldn’t see precisely, including what we woud do or become thus we would be her first real surprise since she got her powers, would also be funny if Dexter went to her asking how he can kill us and he watches her smile for the first time since they met and all she says is. you can’t no one can isn’t it amazing? While he just looks horrified at the statement and shocked at her expression of genuine emotion and joy.

I love the game so far and would love to see where it’s going. Out of curiosity has anyone been able to get past the EXP Upgrades page? I’m wondering if this is just a bug or if that’s the end of the current content. I click continue after choosing what I want to update(core stability twice cuz time manipulation is OP if I can use it more than once). Don’t @ me. But the page just keeps loading and won’t continue. I wondered if it was just me choosing that so I chose it once and then a bunch of other stats but it still won’t continue. Is it the power itself or is that just the end of the current content? Mostly confused because there’s no end page. But so far the demo looks great and like it’ll be a lot of fun so I’m obsessed and will be following from now on.

Currently all routes except divine arsenal ends right after the exp page. Divine arsenal goes a few scene beyond that but not much.

Thank you happy to know it’s not just me. Can’t wait to see what continues after that. My MC is firmly on the route of taking power for themselves because honestly… F both Dexter and Joanna. Dexter is an Ahole that tried to kill us and his most fervent supporter is apparently… I’m not even going there. And Joanna is honestly a Jerk to the highest degree. First, she calls us a monster and despairs over so many more of them showing up. But them she asks us for help giving us a quite frankly one-sided view of things after LEAVING US ALONE WITH SOMEONE SHE KNEW COULD HAVE KILLED US. And then tells us to leave a little girl to die. Sorry not sorry all of them are jerks and my MC will feel absolutely no grief about usurping them. They can fight each other as much as the want for that second-in-command position though personally, my MC would prefer to give it to neither. But Leader is going to my MC and they refuse to feel bad about it. Not that I blame her. They’re both sucky and if not for strength I could not see how anyone could stand to be under them for any significant amount of time.
Also the author is awsome for being able to invoke such a strong reaction from such a short amount of time. I can’t wait to see where she goes with everyone else because she has me angry like these are real people and I can’t wait to see the rest. Also… I did put Riley in the way of her own robot so she could see how to felt and… I don’t feel bad. Does that make my MC a bad person? Maybe. Will they change? Not a chance.

Although MC can enter their divine arsenal, it basically ends with them entering it to bring a weapon out or explore to find a new weapon, while pocket dimension is a dimension the MC has complete control over and can create and destroy anything in it as they please, but MC can’t bring anything created in their pocket dimension out.

This was supposed to have been released last Sunday, but I apologize for the postponement and also cut down on the word count I was initially meant to release I will try my best to release the full intended update as soon as possible (don’t wanna jinx myself with an exact day again)
I also changed some particular scenes in the public demo (please tell me if you encounter any problems).
This update got shortened cause I wasn’t where I intended to get with the Time Manipulation Route, so this update mostly centers around the Pocket dimension route.
