The Sword of Rhivenia: Book One (CHECK #3830)

If I’m not mistaken 65, you should have been chosen if you’re above that unless you and Richard hate each other. Who got chosen as king/queen in your playthrough?

Edit real quick cause I forgot to add something:

It was possible when the demo was still early out to have him not hate you at all by balancing choices. I’m not sure if the author has fixed it now with the full demo out to publication.

I got 75 before chosen as king. Though it was my old playthrough,

70-75 is required if I remember correctly. Also being nice was your downfall, while you don’t have to be mean most nice options don’t increase leadership. Read the books in the library, choose options that put the kingdom first and you should be fine.

I have 92% Kind and got chosen with a 73% leadership. Be kind, (re)wind up as king.

“Not being mean” is different from “being kind”.

Just like what @JBento said, the MC can be the kind as fuck to everyone yet still be chosen by the sword. Just be competent and don’t be too naive

“you don’t have to be mean”

Did you two just miss that part of my reply or chose to ignore it.

Can’t believe I am doing this but okay. There is literally only one option that shows indifference and that’s the one about not caring for the throne. After that all options are either Naive, mean, kind and/or responsible. Now since I was replying to him saying he was nice and I implied that he shouldn’t be too nice but he doesn’t need to be mean. What does this mean, you can be nice. It was literally implied right there and context should be enough for you to notice this.

Ahhh mb. I didn’t read it properly

Playing this game have been truly amazing even if was just a demo I can’t wait for the full version to come out but there is just 1 problem I think should be pointed out why on earth is our older sister calling us out for not calling the mc’s older sibling brother I mean I was just defending him in a argument shouldn’t this prove that I recognize and care for him as my sibling how I am a hypocrite for not calling someone brother when I use his name and to prove that I did not give a damn about him the mc would have ignored his existence but instead I am supporting him in a argument and I don’t think many siblings will even call each other brother or sister that much only when introducing someone to them or just to state the family connection between them in a conversation or naturally saying it when speaking to your family

Different time period. Back then its common to call siblings brother, sister, cousin and so fort. So it makes sense, also by not doing that it shows that you don’t acknowledge him as your brother either. Remember that the story starts with the MC being seven, so going off the sister’s statement its implied that the MC has been doing this for a long time now.

From his point of view Francis was evil.

Fortunately for everyone, we do not in fact have to consider the point of view of a dead imperialist treasonous deadbeat dad.

I mean, Vader was a shitbag who was second in command to the Nazi empire, blew up a planet because he didn’t like what some people on it were saying, and was incredibly incompetent even though he had all the genetic advantages possible, so, sure, I guess?

So just Vader then.

Hey guys, I just thought of this: we should all add SOR to our steam wishlists to boost it there.

Read books, desire to be a leader, and you should get there. Endorsing your father’s murderous policies helps but isn’t necessary.
