Well, there would of course be lot of plot even if the war with erwan is over , i am predicting some sort of peace treaty if this is really happening.

With the war over in a peaceful resolution, MC could concentrate on romance or family matters in Book 3 , especially if MC is romancing Astryn , I suppose there would be internal turmoil or coup need to be taken care of.

If the war end with a victory for either side, it will be a much difficult story branch for book 3 , if MC lose the war, there might be an exile story on how to survive or attempting a counter attack. But this will lead to two big plots ( losing or winning the war) , which is going to be difficult for the author since this is two big different branch.

Hence , peace treaty will likely be the outcome if the war is ending in book 2

Probably or probably not…look your theory’s correct in itself but I don’t think erwan war or it’s consequences would have major impact on the third installment, given that the author has already made up her mind that the war would end in the sequel, one way or another & the most important “then there will be a big time jump”(I just found it on SoR tumblr)which means it go around the heirs-successions-family drama-more family drama!

Guess I better start being a shit parent or heir-mc won’t get the traditional Rhivenian upbringing. Oh and gotta make sure my wives hate each other.

Now I’m wondering, if the law was about having favourites, but you show equal attention to all your kids, you’re not breaking rules, yes?

(Also does anyone know: is the Richard vs. Atheris as ruler decided by just whether Richard’s rivalry is higher than Richard’s friendship, or whether Richard’s or Atheris’s rivalry is higher, or do the relationship bars affect it too?) I can’t get my hands at the code yet.

As far as I know you need to have a rivalry with Richard (whether it’s because Charles or Clara). I’m not sure if it’s necessary to have a good relationship with Atheris.

Looking at the code, I think the only stats involved are your friendship points with Richard versus rivalry points. If your rivalry with Richard is higher than your friendship with him, Atheris becomes queen.

Thanks!

I know your MC must have at least three heirs, but is it possible to have more? Also will our MC have nieces and nephews in the future? (If it’ll be too big of a big spoiler don’t answer sorry. Also thank you for your hard work :purple_heart:  :heartbeat:  :heartpulse:)

I suggest checking the author’s tumblr (theswordofrhivenia) if you want an answer to your question. She’s more active there.

No news. The author will share the news if the next book will be ready but for now, we have to wait patiently. I think they’re more active on their Tumblr page. I suggest following there for more news (see Tumblr link in the first post of this thread.)

Also, please be mindful of the forum’s FAQ. We usually refrain from asking for updates because writing takes time and is usually just a side project by the authors.
