It’s actually not that hard to work out a (likely) timeline for this. Assuming that the 47th President takes office in the 2020s, that puts us as #50 in the 2030s-40s.

In Chapter 4, we get this note on the midterms: “We have all Class I Senate seats up for election.” Class I is the cycle from this year every six years onwards - putting these Senate elections in 2030, 2036, 2042, etc. 2036 and 2048 are not midterm years; this narrows down the possible midterm years to 2030 (too early), 2054 (too late) and 2042 (fits about right). Ergo, the midterms likely happen in 2042, meaning we take office in 2041 and the re-election effort is for 2044.

I don’t know if this was intentional, @RFKramer - it looks like you didn’t have a specific date in mind. Also, I hope I’m not ruining anything with this deduction. TBH, 2040 feels right, so I’m pretty glad if this remains the same.
