Yeah, this is something I myself have been struggling with especially with fighting scenes and protraying emotions you can’t even see (For example emotions you can see through eyes especially because I’m a basement gremlin (I don’t really live in a basement) I don’t interact with people a lot so I’m like “How do you see emotions through eyes?” so I read a shittone and a lotta books have that and I’m like “Okay, I’m gonna wing it and hope it goes through” and surprisingly it works XD) I dunno where I was going with this and I kinda rambled ;-;
Oh it doesn’t have to be a “Wait, am I dead?” It can be just confused or something similar emotion. “Am I dreaming? Did I hit my head?” and then when he gets to She-Who-Invites, the memories flood back and boom! You get that (This is just a suggestion ofc, I’m just really loving the book so sorry again >.<)

Haha, two eyes are always better then one, plus it’s a well known fact that good writers are bad at spelling and hand writing XD I got the bad spellings and bad handwriting, all I need to do is be a good writer now lol (you’ve already achieved being a good writer tho ^-^)

Watch movies and such where the characters are feeling those emotions and pay close attention to the facial expressions of the (good) actors. Even if you don’t think they look particularly sad/happy/etc, that’s still probably a good facial expression to consider because they’re literally professionals at portraying emotions and selling the performance.

Just for the record, I wrote that Haiku at 4am while sleep deprived. I regret nothing.
So, Kit is just the general term for the character that I use. Because it is possible to get 1 of 6 possible names depending on the mc’s backstory, and Kit’s gender.

So, wouldn’t it be reaaaaally funny, if I had got the entire next rewind section ready to go. But during final playtesting, I discovered a critical bug meaning I need to rewrite basically all the code for both act 2 and 1? Wouldn’t that be really funny?
Insert noises of pain here.
Anyway, I’ve learned two things here; to test as I go, and to not promise dates for updates, as they are very subject to change.
On that note, consider this my offical apology that it has been delayed as long as it has been.

Hiya everyone!
I am pleased to announce that I have defeated the monster known as the absolute mess that was my code. It all works as intended now, (at least to my knowledge. Please tell me if anything breaks or is weird in general.) So I am pleased to be able to finally release Act 2 Part 2!
I must also remind you to restart from the beginning, as several key variables have changed or otherwise been shifted, which means the game will break if you start from a save.
This is the second rewind section that your MC will be going through, and although it isn’t as long or dangerous as the Shinkansen, it is still dangerous, and you could die at any point if you aren’t careful. Not to mention, the code is also more complex than the first one, thanks to the powers that you are given at the beginning of act two.
Enough rambling, here are the features:
- Recruit an Otaku
- Buy a shirt for Makoto
- Become a expert beef bowl reviewer
- Die in a toilet block
- Infiltrate a secret meeting
- Die

I perfectly get that feeling on the train, but that’s because of the way that the stats are designed.
Some areas are naturally biased towards certain playstyles. For example, the train is mostly combat focused, while the concert is mostly stealth focused. But that doesn’t mean other stats don’t get a chance to shine at all, just less than the main focus.

So, uhh… This is embarrassing.
I’ve had to juggle like 100+ temporary variables in the concert, and yet I forgot to set the literal most important variable which is “DO YOU HAVE A GODDAMN KNIFE?” to true when you actually pick up the knife. Highly embarrassing, but I will fix it immediately. I guess some things just slip through the cracks when your dealing with so many moving parts.
