Yeah i told birdie put a sarcastic anti uniforms choice so he put All of them. A brilliant satire if yoy ask me. As uniforms separate people in based stereotypes so put all is a defiant way to say i won’t follow your rules Now we only need some punk complements to following the punk Protesting kid
No really… I just thought people might like the choice…
Charlie:
I mean, I could change it if you’d prefer…
Uh, no. Charlie is completely aware that Draco is beneath him.
It really wasn’t…
Note for Tom, these are laws that restrict what clothes people can wear based on social status.
It takes lots of imagination to come up with sufficiently ugly possibilities
Does Auverine have a cadet program?
And when it comes to historical influences, it’s also worth noting that just as there were all these historical events/trends that affected our styles, there might be some fictional events and trends that had impacts on theirs
True but if that uniform is any guide that influence has definitely been for the worse, not better.
Totally agree with you on that. SCREW UNIFORMS
I kinda like uniform…
I dunno if we are talking about military one ?(cose that pic up there, confusing)…
Or school uniform . It can save from the akwardness of what to wear . Though, it can also introduce a new akwardness…of ‘‘you don’t get a say in what you are wearing, skirt vs pants’’ …
But…if for exemple, they let you choose between skirt and pants and not shove the whole ‘Girl must wear skirt’’ …thats a deal breaker for me .
Another pro to uniform…at least in my mind…is…social status…is gone . everyone is the same…
I’d simply read it as like a less classy Bond suit as the uniform. (I picked the pants/trousers)
Side note I didn’t think North Korean military wear could include shorts or a skirt. But know I really want to see a picture of that.
That is false. By own experience rich kids know where you uniform came from and insult you for not being handmade . Then add you are forced to use gendered clothing by force. And imagine summer in spain dressed as a tiny nun …
yes i ended traumatized for it. Here is okay even if i want start a campaign UNIFORMS ARE DOG FACE HERALD and i want make a game where my character made uniforms abolished…
it’s not false . Since as you said, depand on one experience .
and if said uniform are handed over by the school, then they are all made the same way . Same cloth, same design .
Yeah. Like in North Korea everyone same. But I have no problem with uniforms in videogames. It is in real life were I have problems with them as kill individual identity and forced a gendered clothing.
Yea that is messed up.
However counter deal girls must wear skirt boys must wear kilt. Both of similar mandatory height. Would this be a fair substitute in a mandatory situation?
I’m curios what everyone thinks on this.
Edit: still not fond of mandatory stuff but hey.
EDIT 2: This is IF manditory was in force and it was either girls or Everyone. not anything else.
No .
Because again, it isn’t a choice . It’s forced . Add to that, if the guy laugh it off or even hate it . The issue remain .
thats like saying …
X is bullying me , I want to change class .
well how about if X sit over there instead huh ? See…they are too far away from you .
X still sending me note how they gonna beat me after school . I cant focus on my study, let me change class!
Relax! We make sure X doesnt send you stuff . See…all resolved.,…have fun!
kinda miss the issue completely .
I had that X situation in my case X gropped me in class. But X was son of a military captain. I solved it by myself. But yeah FORCED is problem it causes dysphoria and complex
Wait, you made your own uniforms in Spain, or am I misunderstanding? While I doubt it was ever the original intention, erasing class divides is what school uniforms advocate nowadays. When one student turns up in branded clothing and another in their tracksuit bottoms and jersey (not including expensive branded tracksuit bottoms and jerseys, of course) you’re opening students to a lot of torment.
Skirts aren’t mandatory for girls in the UK anymore (where the game is set) and while boys generally aren’t supposed to wear skirts there have been the odd “protest” now and then.
Seems like a non-issue, though, since all options are open regardless of gender and it’s a very minute cosmetic choice…
In my case A tailor firm hand made uniforms that costs a kidney. My dad saved money each year for bought me a pair each year. Until they allowed other factories made the nun outfit. But then kids laughed to poor people not fancy stuff.
When i left private school the freedom of express myself as I am and present myself freely finally was amazing and very special as a teen
Guys, this is getting a little off-topic, here… This isn’t Choice of Uniforms.
If you want to discuss the uniforms within the game, that’s fine, but a lot of this is just discussing the concept of uniforms in general.
(If you want, I’m sure you could continue your discussion on a new thread, or by DM.) Thanks.
choice of uniforms…the sequel! Dun Dun Dun!
Take mah Money and give it to meh!
I went to private catholic school and we did have uniforms, but asides from having to wear it on hot days(which is most of the year here in P.R.) no one really complained about it, since we could wear jeans on days with events(which become more common near the end of my school life).
Actually I was surprised when the school decided to change our uniforms and the majority were okay with it, even though it was made of a material that hard clean and didn’t help with the heat.
In Choice of Uniforms there is no choice; you just have to wear it.
Booo! Boo!
fake advertising…how evil of ya . I want the money I didnt waste…BACK!
