I actually brought up implementing that as a hobby feature in post 103 as opposed to just a secondary skill.
Sure, those can be part of the bonding moments between the dorm members.

Alright, Iām overhauling the entirety of Chapter One. Right off the bat, first impressions on the new introduction?
It look and sound and read very very Good!
Oooo Iām excited for this story! Iām loving the amount of detail with creating a character (height, eyesight, hair length etc.), and the different background options seem really interesting as well. I canāt wait to see what the differences are between each background when playing multiple times.
Thank you. Wanting to provide variety via replaying with the different backgrounds is exactly why I started overhauling the first chapter. In addition to introducing the requested additional features and wanting to try a few other things out. I also hope to factor in the MC appearance as much as possible.
That would be absolutely amazing (albeit time consuming) if you are able to include the MCās appearances throughout the story. A God-send in immersive fiction! I really am looking forward to reading more once your next update comes out!
Thanks. Though admittedly appearance mentions are going to be rare, I like for all customization to have a purpose so Iām going to see where I can put it in. I was going to just have a set appearance in accordance to each background but everyone actively providing me feedback wanted customization even if it was arbitrary.
Oh wait, was this updated?
In a few ways a few times now. I finished the first chapter but now Iām completely reworking it so I can fit it more to my vision and incorporate reader feedback.
Is there a reason brown isnāt an option for hair and eyes? If not, could you add it?
I finally got around playing the update. I prefer the new way of choosing our name and whatnot, but why take away everything else?
Iām not sure why I forgot that, but it has been corrected.
I plan on completely reworking the first chapter, at least to a decent extent. Iām going to try out a few new things but keep some old ones. Iāve mentioned earlier I want the MC to have a unique monologue and attitude depending on their background and secondary qualities, so it was going to be jarring if I suddenly introduced it in the second chapter. Thus integrating it into the first. The new setup also means I have to correct for scenes like speaking to Jabermath as the MC now goes into the Academy knowing about magic.
My apologies everyone for slacking on the updates. I have been thinking more about what I want to do with the game and realized I have a lot more rework I have to do than I anticipated. Including reworking one entire character altogether. There is something I wanted to leave up to you guys. Should I go ahead and continue writing the ROās with a distinct sexuality for each one or make it possible for them to be attracted to the MC regardless of gender identity?

Greetings everyone. I know itās been quite awhile since Iāve been active working on the story but I now have what I want to do in terms of writing in order. So this is a very minor update I hope gets that across of what it will be like moving forward. Thereās one minor scene that comes right after character creation unique to each background and set of opposing traits. I hope to do this for the whole game.
The two options for the noble background have a missing variable.
But other than that, donāt see any more pesky bugs! Iām excited to see how our background will influence a playthrough.
Been waiting for a very long time. So glad that its being continued. I love the whole magical school setting. So keep up the good work
Edit: Couldnt get past the second page. Humble and arrogant variable are unexisting or something like thatā¦
Alright, Iāve done a bit of modifying and it should be fixed now.
Thank you.
One thing I noticed in the Farmer background:
Your neighbors also happen to be composed of a few individuals not allowed in the city for their regressive ideals most notably their refusal to adhere to the secular state.
Is this saying they were basically exiled for being religious? Or that there was some specific law they wouldnāt adhere to because of their beliefs?
