Ah, well that’s an odd thing to happen between the updates.
Ah, well it will be interesting for when your MC finds out about Ilsa’s little secret. Actually there’s something fitting to me about a snobbish noble gravitating to the two most amoral characters in the RO roster.
Ah, I’ve got a new angle to approach that from then. Thankfully one in which I remove the set Hussein to 0 automatically option.
I second the ability to have a snobbish superiority complex! No I’m not bias.
I recommend throwing the game through quicktest for a couple rounds and making sure it passes before you post future updates! That’ll severely limit the amount of crash-type errors you’ll receive!
There’s only 2 gay characters though. Overall there’s 2 of straight, gay and bi, plus 1 pan and 1 ase. If anything the orientations are evenly distributated.
Alright, I’ve got a good idea on how to approach portraying the snobbish Noble next time. Hopefully I’m doing well enough with balancing polite Noble. Hmm, I suspect bias. And their initial is F.
Thanks, I’ll do that more often.
As @Bahamuht pointed out, the orientations are evenly distributed. Eliza and Hussein even do their best to turn the MC down nicely if they’re their same sex or even non-binary. If the question is more along the lines of why do I have most of my characters be not straight despite the amount you have personally met being very few. Well I can’t speak for everyone’s experience but I found it’s important to have diversity in every work and who you meet and gravitate towards to color what we consider normal. My whole life I’ve known a lot of members of the LGBT+ community, many of them friends so that’s very much normal to me.
Thank you for clarifying that.
I appreciate your goodwill despite not personally understanding.
In case you’re curious.
Bisexual- An individual attracted to individuals of two genders. In some cases more, it’s up to the individual to define that as usually it entails not quite being pansexual.
Pansexual- Attraction to an individual regardless of gender.
Asexual- No sexual attraction to other individuals. They can still experience romantic attraction such as Tomomi, but others also don’t have such feelings and only experience platonic relationships with others.
Also will the type of magic you are strongest in or most affiliated with using define your reputation I.e if you use death magic and raise the dead and all will people see you as an evil to be put down or would people judge you on your individual actions and reasons for using said magic?
No, the only thing related to your reputation that the magic you are strongest in will affect is that related to your personal aspect. If you go into specializing in arcane, rune or tech then you’ll be perceived as more intelligent. Specialize in any of the elements and you’ll be viewed as stronger. Specialize in life or death and you’ll be considered more attuned to nature. That or “artsy”.
Ultimately however, people will indeed judge you for your individual actions and reasons for using magic. In the Nellis Academy people are open minded in regards to the type of magic each mage uses. Death magic isn’t as looked down upon anymore than the other schools of magic. They’ve all got their good and bad apples. Which is why Alexander derides you for believing the all necromancers are evil stereotype and the basic book on death magic actively mocks anyone who attempts to use the teachings for becoming an evil lich ruler attempting to take over the world.
I’ve gone about adding a bit more now. Once I get through the afternoon activities it’s going to advance to classes.
So I want to make sure everyone is fine with me continuing with the options between hanging out with and meeting Manuel the vampire or hanging out with the dorm mates to watch a movie. Or if I should add in more options that everyone feels I should add-in and specifically what those should be?
