What store/app are you using? If you don’t usually make purchases there your bank might be denying it due to suspected fraud, you’d have to call them to clear it up.
Does anyone have any idea how many ROs this story will eventually have?
I did some lurking on the tumblr and was able to see that the pirate king will be a RO (thank goodness, he’s fun lol) but that’s all I saw
… Vallen, Ysabella, Alain and, I guess, the blue-haired guy?
Mine was “baddie”.
Finished my first play through and omg love forever torn between Hadrian and Alain though so not looking forward to having to choose haha. Also Beka is my adopted child now I’ve decided
Also this moment was both heartwarming and sad ugh bless her
So yeah I adored it and I’m going to play again and I can’t wait for book 2 ahhh
Possibly Neia as well. She seems to be only interested in women, however
Okay so to be honest there was a lot more going on here than I expected. I’ll probably have to play again to really figure out my feelings about this one, but I will say it’s one of the few games that I’ve continued thinking about after I’ve played.
I believe the author said there’d be 10(?) ROs at some point. I’m not sure if that’s changed or not. The ones I’m aware of so far are Alessa, Hadrian, Vallen, Ysabella, Alain, the bard, the pirate king, and Neia. Rafael might(?) be one but I’m unsure about him since there don’t seem to be any flirt options, but there’s quite a few asks and scenarios about him on the author’s tumblr.
She did say that we would have met all the possible ROs by the end of Book 1, though, so I’m unsure who the other could be (unless she changed it to make it fewer ROs).
Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s a low fantasy version of medieval Spain.
Also, side note, I can’t read Nestled Nook Inn without being reminded of Critical Role lmao.
Just wanted to say that I finished this today and really enjoyed it. A work of this scale is a rare treat. Of course, the downer is that I can only imagine it’ll be a while before I get to enjoy the follow-up! Congrats to the author, editor, and testers. Wishing you all the best.
Tarragona is a real place, guys. It’s really pretty. I’m going to try to make it out to Spain next time I’m in the EU, it’s on my list.
The garden event doesn’t happen until the next chapter/game release. You only make it to, I think, the night before the day you’re due to meet her.
Yeah, I know it’s real, I just meant that it’s low fantasy in that theres sort of magic (maybe?) and the history doesn’t entirely mirror real word history.
Just finished the book and now I hate myself for finishing it so early and having to wait for book 2. It’s really awesome finding such a lengthy read with the quality this has!
Also Alessa 10/10 RO and Hadrian 10/10 best bro amirite fellas
My MC and Alessa were throwing out so many get a room vibes that I felt awful for Hadrian. He was really cool about it though, what a guy.
…but was he? In my playthroughs of the demo at least, he was always super fucking jealous and stand-offish whenever me and Alessa were being close, with lines specifically mentioning him like bitterly staring at us.
I finished my first playthrough and I’m thoroughly hooked. I really enjoyed getting a lot of flexibility in regards to approaches to problems, deep continuity for past choices, and a focused enough plot to keep me from getting absolutely lost as the side stories and mysteries got slowly added. I’m eager for more!
That’s really strange, maybe it’s cause I exclusively romanced her, but he always just watched the mc and alessa with a knowing grin or says something about it in a teasing way
They are both best bro for sure.
As for best RO, while Hadrian and Alessa are great, I can’t wait until Lance’s and Vallen’s routes are fleshed out. I was very fond of these two characters and believe they can compete for best RO.
I mean, I did too*. I have zero interest in men, so I barely even talked to him. Wait, saying that, maybe it’s because I antagonized him a good bit? So low relationship with him leads to him being jealous? Like he definitely was envious about it in my playthroughs, giving dark looks under his brow at us at every opportunity, even in the very beginning after falling in the river (where I asked her to help instead). It’d make sense if that’s dependant on your relationship with him. Oh, and in case it matters/is a difference, I play as a woman, since I know both of them are crushing on the opposite gender MC from the start.
*(at least as far as the demo, but I don’t see that changing)
Depending on your gender, both Alessa and Hadrian will have a crush on MC from (before) the start of the game (Alessa with male MCs and vice versa). I played with both m!MC and f!MC romancing Alessa, and Hadrian will either be a supportive best bro or be jealous about it. I don’t know if your relationship with him changes how he reacts to your relationship, but in my playthrough I never really antagonised him (beside being a heathen) and he would have pained looks on his face when he sees f!MC and Alessa together.
On the demo at least, haven’t really got the time to play the game ;-;
I hope Dawnseeker is a RO. That whole interaction you have when you flirt with her is GOLD.
