I just realized…how does society expect me to like man or women in this world, when there are such angelic, God blessed enigmas (haha) as Hadrian or Alessa here. I’m seriously considering not marrying ever now, just feeding off their story here…

Yes, that’s where the demo ends. I’m not updating it anymore. These last “update” posts have just been a way to let people know how the game is progressing.
But the content will only be available once the game is published.

Finished the first draft of Chapter 7! 🎉
There it is. The word Epilogue. I can barely believe it. I want to write it so badly, the whole conclusion is in my head and I just want to go ahead and put the pencil to paper!
But I won’t. Because now comes the writing of the second draft, and I will think of the Epilogue when I’m writing the third variation of the same scene. Or that one path that isn’t as exciting to me as the others. Or whenever I’m stuck figuring out how to fit this description in this particular dialogue choice… I will think of this epilogue, and hopefully, avoid the temptation to cut corners.
As for this draft… I love the ending. I really, really love it. I hope you all will like it too. I like the whole chapter, but I can’t lie that the final scene was when I couldn’t stop my hand from flying over the page. It’s slightly cramping, actually. I think my right hand is thankful that the handwriting part is done 
.
I’ll have to be away from the Rose for a few days, to take care of a little personal project, but as soon as that is done, I’ll start transforming all these scribbles into coherent phrases. Fill out all the choices. Take the chapter from a linear story to an interactive one.

Finished Chapter 7! 
Dawn rises like a slow, steady current, and half the sky is still sunken within the realm of night.
Finished writing, editing and coding Chapter 7! The game stands at one million, one hundred and thirty thousand words - code excluded. 
This chapter was… almost bittersweet to write. It has a scene that has been living in my mind even before I wrote that very first sentence “It was raining on Baiae.” But it is done, and I can honestly say that I’ve written it to the best of my abilities.
And so concludes the final chapter of the book. Now, all that is left is the Epilogue. Which… realistically, should take me about a day or two to write But I’ll be staying away from the Rose for a couple of days, just so that I can face this last little hill with as fresh a mind as possible. Right now, all I can see is code and labels and commands and unending hours editing text.
