What a great start for the New Year! Congrats!

I’m so happy we have an estimated release date! I’ve been anticipating. <3 Congrats!
5th of January. I can’t wait!
Here I go again, throwing my hard earn money on things I love
I’ll be counting the days.
Yes! Put it on my wishlist. And can’t wait to play it!!
@JBento I’m echoing that yaaaay right back at you!
@Lambkin I know all of your beloveds will be eager to spend time with you as well! All of the color coordinated hearts for them, though I took some liberties with the ordering:
. (That’s about right; I admittedly just wanted to see how many heart emojis COG has on its website too…) XD
@lo6otia That is exactly what I was hoping some readers would think! It will be a thrilling start. Thank you for your kind words too.
@UltraZ Awesome! Thank you so much for wishlisting it.
@Kelsey Thank you! I just recently learned of the date, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the Steam page up so quickly. I’m excited to see my tag lines/description up on the website; it makes things seem more real and within reach. It’s lovey to know that you’re waiting with anticipation.
@FleurJane Same! I can’t wait for you all to continue your visits in Fernweh.
@SnowPhoniex It means so much that would do so and that you have love for the story. Thank you!
@Quaryelle Aw, that made me smile. I can’t wait for you to continue exploring Fernweh; there is so much in store for you all that I’m just as eager for you to continue reading. I think I might set up a countdown too to help me keep track of time while I work on Book Two and finalize things for Book One. Time seems to fly while I’m writing, but not while I’m waiting, lol.
@EvilChani Hi Chani! Thank you so much for adding TFS: Book One to your wishlist. I’m excited for you to play it, especially with all the routes you’re curious about; there is a lot to uncover.
Already on my wishlist, can’t wait
Me too! I started planning my MCs tonight so I can get them into my spreadsheet (yes, I actually have a spreadsheet of my MCs for each of my favorite games, with names, personalities, etc., lol). Gotta figure out who to stick on each route. rubs hands together
I didn’t have a chance to go through the demo again tonight, but plan to do so tomorrow. I’m so excited about this game! And really happy for you.
@RenataC Yay! Thank you for adding it and for being so supportive.
Oh, that sounds absolutely incredible! Taking the time to compile a detailed spreadsheet is so cool to me. I relate since I keep notes about the Returning Visitors I have heard about on here or on Tumblr to have a better picture of the type/range of characters my readers create, which can inspire some choices or scenes. I would love to eventually learn more about your characters.
You will trigger tailored text, depending on personality/choices, so it’s interesting to plan out things, especially some of the relationship dynamics.
For instance, R’s route with a flirty MC versus a more shy or denial-ridden MC can differ quite greatly.
Your excitement makes me happy; it’s also motivating as I write Book Two. Many of you have been with me from the start, so it’s great to be able to share a scheduled date after waiting together over the months.
Can’t wait to really and truly get to know B and S…I met them in the demo (I discovered the WIP after it had been submitted), and I like them a lot.
Congratulations on the release date! I’m so excited for you! (And to give everyone all the hugs I keep daying they need. )
I’m already counting the days
So excited for release!! The demo was proper creepy and I can’t wait to find out what’s going on in smalltown creepsville
@Snowflower I love that you’re intrigued by both S and B. I think that S in particular can be quite the enigma with how thoughtful of a person they are, but it might take them some time to feel comfortable sharing those thoughts (and feelings) with other people. S-mancers should have an edge in this department.
I always enjoy hearing readers’ thoughts on the characters. They have layers that you all will have the chance to sift through and tease out throughout the series, but your choices and dynamics can let you discover more things. @Cat-Toes pointed this out once with a romanced! R (and a shy MC) versus a bestie! R, but your mention of B reminded me of it. I’m thrilled for those beliefs about the characters to grow with each book.
@Cat-Toes Thank you! (They are in need of some hugs; I can promise that there will be opportunities for that and more in the future.
)
@Suzumi Aw, yay! That means so much; the release really feels just around the corner to me, though that might be because I’m eager from the good news, lol.
@artless Thank you so much for taking the time to play the demo. That creep factor that slowly makes itself known is what I was aiming for, so I’m happy you felt it while exploring Fernweh.
I will say that there is a lot going on; you will likely discover more hints or new, unsettling questions each time you play.
^This reminds me of an art commission idea I’m eventually planning for the Fernweh group art pieces. It made me smile.
I’ve added the date to my calendar. I’m so happy for you and for me since I get to play soon.
And you’re already working on book 2? Yes, please. Congrats!
Congratulations on your release date for TFS. I was wondering what to get myself for a Christmas gift. I guess i will just have to treat myself a little late. Absolutely cannot wait for 2013 now.
Every time I look at this thread it keeps getting better and better…
