Did it say? I donât recall. I figure the MC has to be at least 22ish (I was leaning more toward 25-27). Iâll code dive and see if I can find it.
Found this that gives a good idea that itâs been a long while:
It has been years, way too many for your grandfather to have guessed how you would look now with such accuracy.
And thatâs after you see that gramps had pics of you up to when you left. Canât find anything more specific, so Iâm leaning toward 10 years or so.

@E_RedMark and @EvilChani Aside from being told that the MC left Fernweh before/around their 15th birthday and that itâs been years since then, the MC doesnât have a set age in canon; here are a few asks ( 1, 2, and 3 ) that go into some details about the MCâs and ROsâ age ranges.

@Lambkin Thanks for that! Iâm glad thereâs no set age. That means they can be in their mid to late 20s, which works much better for their characters. I think my third one may be younger. I like making the young troublemakers just to throw a grenade into the story and see what happens.

For some reason, I viewed them as young adults. I donât know why I canât imagine them in their late 20s.
Now that @Snowflower mentioned about careers, I just realised that B or MC didnât mentioned anything about work. True to be told, I havenât thought of what Evelynâs career was before going back to Fernweh. I imagined her as an accountant of a store that sells PC parts which she co-owned.

Evelyn has enough knowledge to sell parts and basic idea on PC building but majority of the time, she will be found crunching numbers on excel and calculating taxes.
I probably have to adjust their ages now that I am re-reading and starting to form my MCs backstory.

I recommend for anyone who has still picked a job for their chosen MC for role-playing purposes, keep in mind that while some Jobs can be attractive, they are also time-consuming in real life. For example a Lawyer, a Cop, a DoctorâŚ
I would never make my Mc go for a job where all she does is work work workâŚunless the Job is Smooching J

Arthur is not allergic to anything. Heâs not allergic to ketchup but he really doesnât like it, to the point of idiosyncrasy.
Laurel is allergic to dust mites. She would definitely be tempted to lie to Beckett and Reese that sheâs allergic to dogs and cats.

Since itâs a single store, I think she and an assistant or two can manage it with a spreadsheet and an accounting system that have been set up right. Theyâre still pretty new though around 4 years as well.
I probably need to bump up Evelynâs age to 28 to fit the narrative above. As for allergies, Evelyn doesnât have one though she take care not to eat too much salty food.
Edit: Oh yea⌠I assume our MC are doing well since they have their own car. And I wonder where our grandpa send us at 15 years old? I really wanted to know who took care of the MCs during our teenage years or is it up to our imagination?

Summary
Letâs see, my mc went on a trip and got lost. Teach you the meaning of âForget the map! Get a guide or a guiding Dog instead because you donât know your left from your right!â, and end up lost in a shitty town called Kirkwall. There she made friend with this Trouble maker called Hawke. Her sister was nice though even if a bit of a stick in the mud.
She got boozed and only told them about her age after Isabella (Thatâs Hawke Gf) got her drunk during a game of Gin. After that, it gets super blurry, but my MC considers the trip a success. She did get a Tan hanging out in the Gallow and got ass-drunk and left before some shenanigans erupted. And it looked boring when she got there, that show you huh⌠appearances can be misleading.
At 16, she hanged with some stuck-in-the-mud kidsâŚbarely remember their names. They were all protesting for one thing or another, something about Chantry. They convinced my MC to snoop on a gathering that was about to happen. She couldnât make it alas, she got caught trying to sneak out the window. Grumble she was never good at it, so makes you wonder why she thought it was a good idea, to begin with.
This was a good thing because the âGatheringâ turned out to be a bust full of Chantry zealot, a fight broke out, and someone screamed âGet the weed! Get the Weed!â then the next thing you know BADABOUM! they hauled some asses, and the group of mischieve right in the middle of it all. Talk about being lucky and missing all that fun⌠
At 17, thatâs when the ahem Sex drive started kicking in. It was a tumultuous time as you know. Being a young pretty thing, yet as virgin as a cactus. My MC would find herself often thinking of all the Hotties she left behind in Fernweh. What are they doing? Do they miss her? And which of them ends up with the biggest chest?
It was during these infernal nights of âUrgesâ, that she started missing them like hell.
âOh if only J was here, I betcha she would be good for a cuddle!â, âOh if only R was here, I betcha we could sneak out and do naughty things togetherââŚyou get the idea.
Ahem But alas, fate was as frigid as it was dull. And my poor MC stayed an Incel till she decided to take the trip back.
To say it was an important Trip would be sugarcoating the intensity of those âUrgesâ.
For you understand, that even though the Town seems to be plagued by malevolent forces hell-bent on being a Perv that visits my MC at night in her dream, thatâs nothing in comparison to the âUrgesâ of a flower in need. Please, take a Ticket and wait in lines! Nothing beat the Hornyness from your Teens years that has yet to be sated!
And so, the Malevolent forces find themself facing a conundrum of a situation. They wish to pass on a message to the MC, about their Roles, and how they will be forced to Bend over to their wills.
But alas, their chosen threat as well as words, only make the MC consumed with Urges. To the great dismay of the villainy.
They talk and whisper their fears, and yet all the mc hear is the sweet sound of kisses being stolen from their romances.
Oy Vey said the Vilain! Pay attention to me! They roared!

I thought they only brought you outside the border of Fernweh based from what I understand. Thereâs no mention that they took care of you throughout your life up to the current point. Unless I misunderstood it.
