At the beginning I thought that Fernweh was a made-up name, so not knowing how to pronounce it, I just called the series “Fern Saga” 
Then I finally decided to check this word on the internet, and found out that it’s a German word, pronounced like “fern-vee”. Even though I know how to pronounce it now, I still sometimes affectionately call it “The Fern Saga” in my head, sort of like a pet name
