Yeah, of course you can join! We only have one text, and we’re still figuring out what The Event is about. If you have any suggestions for The Event to add to the list, that’d be cool.

If the Event is decided on after the submission of your scene, would it be necessary to change your scene to fit the Event?

Ideas

  • A new chemical was created in a laboratory with unknown effects on humans and other living creatures. This chemical was then accidentally released.

  • A new drug was released on the market. Its previously undiscovered side effects are now discovered.

  • A recent earthquake/storm/natural disaster of some kind brings unexpected results.

I think it ought to be fine. Remember that this is an experiment and, in the nature scientific inquiry, we should keep ourselves open to the unknown.
