Isn’t the family provided for in the original story, though? 
Either that or one of the father’s deals finally goes through, it’s been a while since I read the story.

That’s exactly what my mc would be afraid of, and if even her dedication came up a little short on the bread portion of breadwinner…well let’s just say she hasn’t got much confidence in her sisters to suddenly, magically get their act together when they haven’t for years now. 
Though as I said the other part of her personality would also make her unwilling to accept the Beast’s “charity” so for her there really isn’t any other option but to go back and help her family out again. If she really must she’ll send one of her sisters, like I said for one reason or another either of them would be a much better fit for him anyway.
It would mean one less mouth she’d have to provide for, for the time being at least. 
Lastly there is the more selfish fact that she secretly doesn’t want to give up being a provider and breadwinner, cause no matter how shitty her life may have been it also made her feel accomplished and in control of her own fate…and now the stupid Beast is snatching that away, along with her family.

I get where you’re coming from, and you certainly have valid concerns, I guess I’d like to hope that things will work out for my family, after all there isn’t much I can do about it. When I was talking to @iris about the story yesterday I completely forgot to ask what is to become of my family after I get taken

Well he could have chosen her Sansa like sister, Sina or her Margeary like sister Yiana, either of them would like being a princess or even a Queen, my mc…not so much.
So it is his fault as he could bloody well have picked someone more suitable for him, seeing as how he had three choices and he had to prick the breadwinner, who likes being that.
As far as my mc is concerned it is his fault as he had a choice in the matter, unlike herself, and he made the wrong one.

Same for me, when it was announced that I could romance a female ‘beast’ I was 100% sold, I’ve always hated how fairy tales and Disney movies were always “The Princess needs a Prince”. Now don’t get me wrong, I still love to watch Disney movies, I’m just one of those wishing that Elsa gets a girlfriend next movie

I loved Brave when it came out, I was really happy to see a Disney Princess take her fate into her own hands for once and I thought it was a good message for people to see. Frozen though is my absolute favorite Disney film since I can really relate to Elsa’s plight of being forced to try to hide who you are…Let it Go is such a great song

Yea, Merida is kind like the love of my life hahahaha. Elsa is great, i know how it feels too. Let it Go is a song that i did not like the first time I heard because I watched the dubbed version and it was AWFUL, but the original one is definitely great

Well you choose the gender, doesn’t mean you have to romance them, though its why you will see me referring to them as she/her

Just for clarification–! The beast’s gender is selectable once you reach the castle and is not influenced by their physical appearance. You can have lion girl beasts, fox boy beasts, nonbinary dragon beasts and everything in between.
I made an FAQ at the top, and will probably insert it into the game soon.
And yes, there’s an actual reason the beast chose you and not Sina or Yiana. You can ask someone in the castle later, but the usefulness of their answers will vary
