Tale of Two Cranes (Out March 7)

Good to know that I won’t have to stick with either for too long.

@Nyc789 The third potential emperor is his (fictious) cousin and the last surviving member of the Qin family. She’s also the only emperor the mc can marry. It’s not a true romance but it is a good power grab.

Only Fang Lan matters :sunglasses:

For the romance can we only choose 1 lead only or is it polygamy cause your story settings are in ancient China that times it was quite common and all

It wasn’t really, it was illegal for a man to have more than one wife, they could have concubines though. But I don’t think the other ROs wanna be a concubine tbh.

So, I’m still at the very beginning.

But looking at the stat screen, I noticed that our parents seem to share a surname in every background. This is glaring to me because Chinese women historically have never adopted their husband’s surname for their personal names. Not even in fantasy settings.

Are there any guides? How do I rule China?

I don’t think there’s any guides yet as the game just came out a few hours ago. Maybe try asking again in about 2 or 3 days

@Lordking You can only have one romance at a time.

@mistylavenda Thanks for pointing that out! We missed it and are working on correcting it.

@Nguyen_Nhu_Hoang TLDR: it’s hard. Long Version: to become the ruler of China yourself you’re going to need to play to your stat strengths, have good relationships with others to help make up for your weakness, and having some money always helps when skills fail and bribery is needed. The big factor here is which emperor is actually on the throne by chapter 5. There are general tasks you need to succeed at for all three emperors, like Han Xin’s supposed rebellion, and you need to complete these tasks within a very limited amount of time (I think it’s 9 turns? I don’t have the code in front of me.) I can go into more detail if you need me to just let me know which emperor you have.
