Honestly, I have a love-hate relationship with Zillah. Hate because either this guy or someone connected to him is responsible for almost every bad thing that happens to MC in their life, and he does not feel bad about it at all. The moment I got the option to be violent with him, I took it. And every other option to kick his ass because he deserves it.
Love because out of all the male ROs, he is the most interesting unfortunately and the drama and toxicity is fun. Like, yes baby, last week I punched you repeatedly in the face for traumatizing me, do you want to makeout now? He’s awful but he’s interesting, I like toxic relationships in fiction, and I don’t have many romance options otherwise.
No but seriously, I tried to romance Chris. I tried, man. But no. Just no. Guy has some issues with his self-esteem and resentment that he needs to sort out. I’m sorry my MC is so cool and tough, maybe go to therapy, Chris, IDK. Get better. He’s not even that great of a friend, he ditches you to flirt with 19 year olds I think at one point. Might be exaggerating but the point is, he can be a bad friend and a worse love interest. We’re better off with the tense friendship where he occasionally (or often) chews me out because he’s jealous or something. At least Zillah isn’t supposed to be our best friend. IDK, maybe I’ll try again because it’s been a while since I played Superstition, but it probably isn’t worth the effort of romancing him.
I don’t even remember the other male ROs name, I just did not care for him. Cannot be bothered. Same with Sidero, I just didn’t like her.
I felt kind of weird about Amari, she felt too young to me. I thought she was a teen. But I like her as a friend, somehow one of the more normal characters.
Anyway, yeah, the ROs kind of suck but it is what it is and I like Zillah so not all is lost. I do like the story but MC needs a break, barely any wins. It is one in the morning and I am tired, sorry if this comes across weirdly.
