When I do make an update I usually put more pomp into it lol.

They might bring a little trouble if they land a crit, but would I lose?
I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend time in that village inhabited by poorly shapen primordial ooze.

Once again taking the bait, oh yes, very likely.
Eliphrael is somewhat of an even match, he’s getting old and nearing the end of his fighting days and ultimately he has a similar skillset to the MC’s sorcery but more focused on using it for mobility to get in close and become a sorcerous blender.
He doesn’t have the MC’s magical polyvalence, but to be fair to him mastering five different disciplines is pure insanity, it is genuinely an abnormal amount of radically different ways of using magic for a single mage. He also wouldn’t be as powerful of a mage in a direct comparison at full power. However he’s probably the most experienced battlemage there is on this side of the planet. An even fight, but definitely not an easy one.
Visamere however would eat the MC for breakfast if she was motivated enough to kill them outright. The MC is very incompatible with fighting a pure braindead bread and butter warrior champion. And Visamere has that energy in droves. Without someone to keep her at bay, forget about even slowing her down before she gets to your squishy backline and squeezes them for all they’re worth.
Once the MC gets most of their powers back, they’d stand a good chance of winning. But this is not the kind of world in which power alone guarantees victory.
I mean, you don’t have to. Besides we’re all ooze. We’re nothing but ooze.

I will be honest, i didnt like much at first and sorry if this is not " constructive opinion "
but i like more and more the more i read ^^ !!! i always like games where you dont
play a human or even magic user, but something else entirely and more unique, Really is awesome when you can
do that, for me you just feel better and unique in the world, also i aplaud you for allow you to choose Body parts the way you did, which is rare, most games and writers dont do that, which makes you game more unique, for a lot of people i ghess,
Loved the simple start, the descriptions and the characters, thank you for the good game and good time ^^ !!! Cannot wait for more of this dark world ^^ !!!
Maybe the criticism i can say is making allow to choice which spells or attack you do during a battle, i´m only reading chapter 1 at the moment.
Edit: If you other game is like this i definetely gonna run and check it out ^^ !!! Specially with this good of character creation and history ^^ !!!

It’s okay to just post an opinion, but if you can elaborate on what you did or didn’t like and why, it’s more helpful for writers to improve.
It doesn’t have to be a two-page essay either, but feedback is important.

Thanks, I also wish that was more common, but then again in many games your body parts will never come up the way they do here anyway (which I also would like to be more common).
Yeah that is the sort of improvement i’m working on for that part of the story, so you can look forward to that in new update.

Stańczyk pfp, nice. Very excited for the full release. Your writing is highly enjoyable to read and, dare I say, one of the best on this site. I do hope that your interest in writing doesn’t wane in the unforeseeable future, it would be a shame to lose such a fine writer.

Ehh I am getting impression that she’s positive influence to otherwise my gloomy, smug MC, she is what my MC need to make that change, someone to talk to and maybe one day open up.
She doesn’t have a sense of personal space, obvious and doesn’t beat around the bush, but that’s what make her effective in reaching out to MC.

It’s absolutely fine not to like her, the MC isn’t the only flawed character in this story. And whether or not you’re receptive to Loran is up to you and your character, she’s destined to change for better or worse just as much as you are.
Most of the new chapter 1 will be doable without seeing her at all, and chapter 5 will be the same in that regard, if that’s any reassurance for people who don’t like her.
I just relate to his vibe so much.
That’s really high praise, thank you, it would be an absolute honor to be considered on par with the best authors here.

But yeah, I won’t stop of my own volition. Even if my hands fall off I’ll find a way to keep going, the day I stop is the day life laughs last on me.

I have a edgy bitch of a warlock and Loran forces me to socialize, and serves as a good neckrest the best dynamic.
Though I do still plan on bringing out her best self.
Whole ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves and whatnot.
