Hi! I’m currently working on an interactive fiction novel. This is something I’m doing for fun in my spare time so there is no set schedule to updates.
Seer is an interactive urban fantasy novel set in the modern day. Play as an ordinary person thrust into a world of immortals, magic and action as you discover the secrets of your past life.
Features:
Play as Male, Female or Non-Binary.
Customise your appearance.
Get a cat (In future chapters).
Currently it’s 2996 words and contains the prologue.
ROs
Sybil(M) - A determined and loyal man whose calm disposition masks a thoughtful and sentimental heart.
Theophilia(F) - An energetic and athletic woman whose lust for life is rivalled only by her own sense of adventure.
Two other ROs planned but currently still in the works as they have not appeared in the story yet and I’m a bit of a panster writer.
All romance options will be available to M/F/NB MCs.
Colour me intrigued. The opening was certainly cryptic enough to garner interest. As much as I’ve come to dread urban fantasy romance stories, the aura of mystique and quite well crafted prose was gripping.
I really like the prologue so far. It sets up the story well while having an air of mystery. And maybe I’m a sucker, but I’m already fond of Sybil and Theophilia just from their interactions together. This novel sounds interesting, and I’d love to see where the story goes!
just, wow. that was such a good prologue. it flowed perfectly and gave enough info to grasp at and leave you wanting more. i am patiently and excitedly waiting for more!
An interesting opening and we can have cat which is a plus. Pets in general usually are especially if we can do stuff with them in the game and they’re not just there for the cute factor. It’s currently too short to fully form a option but I will definitely be bookmarking this one
To be honest, the description of this WIP did not interest me (I’ve already seen too much urban fantasy ;-; ) but I have read the prologue and I’m delighted how this story begins and the way you write. It was really intriguing and epic! I look forward to more.
Btw. I’m glad we met the ROs so quickly (they both seem great) even before we met our MC, lol.
The other’s already said this, but still the prologue hooked me up. I mean it’s not everyday that I start a story as being dead. And the prose was great too! Can’t say more from the short demo, but you’ve got me intrigued!
