A typo/coding issue at the abandoned motel. My Asher is male but referred to as female for this part. (was there last time I play the demo, but forgot to mention it)

A chapter where the team ventures into the theater hoping to find the next Replica, only to stumble upon even more mystery they wouldāve liked to, where the curtains raise to reveal hidden secrets and test your friendsā loyalty upon those maddening events. Waste time by playing with the theater props or push your friends aside for some dramatic question- what will you uncover, inside the Everflake theater?
yey. Chapter 8 is out! after one year- it is done ;-; It needs a lot of polish and editing still- but this is for the next update. This chapter has less branching through choices, but more through the decisions which you made in the past. Characters react and make their own decisions depending on their acquired personality traits- and entire endings can change depending on whether you are a replica savior or hunter- along with a certain charactersā faithā¦
The chapter consists of:

Not perfectly polished yet- because university starts tomorrow again and I wanted to get this chapter out before that.
Feel free to report bugs, pronounce issues, or whenever a character claims that you did something/or are supposed to be knowing something which you never encountered.
Playing with a new save would be ideal, as you may encounter a few bugs here and there when continuing with the same save. But of course, this is not too major.

@TheZod thanks yea there is like an one year buffer in between chapters due to the reason stated above. I remember how I needed to change the setting year a few times because it was supposed to be like 3 years from now, but we got dangerously close to thatā¦ sad we donāt have portals to parallel universes discovered, yet.

That update wasā¦ painful, especially for my Asher-mancing MC.
So does everyoneās MC die at the end of chapter 8? Or did my MCās choices cause it? I guess what Iām asking isā¦ is that the end of the story if your MC makes the wrong choices? Or is that where it all ends? Iām very confused, lol.

Thank you ahha dont worry, the mc doesnāt die. Iām trying not to kill any mcs- they just faint due to the intense pain. Depending on the circumstances of this last scene, one character will mention āoh no quick mc is fainting aaā but thanks for saying that- maybe I should reword the bit there to make this more clear c: like I had mentioned, chapter still needs some tidying up and editing but havenāt come around to do so thoroughly.

Hnghhhā¦ On one hand, I love this so much.
ā¦ But on other hand the Angst is killing me and Iām yet to even reach Chapter 8. No good or bad choices my arse. All are terrible. Maybe just romance then wipe memory that ever happenedā¦

Oh, and a note: Asher didnāt punch my MC in the scene where he loses his shit, but it was later stated that he did. I wasnāt sure what was going on there. Does it say that even if he doesnāt, just because he slammed her head into the wall?
Just wait till you play chapter 8. You have no idea how true this is. I finished playing chapter 8 and just feltā¦ drained. And depressed as shit, to be honest.
Like you, I love this story so much, but itās just getting too painful. Itās like, you get a glimmer of hope and then get kicked in the teeth. I really like the MC, love Lily and Asher, like Flynn, and am even warming to Ame, which makes it all the more depressing when the poor MC gains two seconds of happy and gets kicked even harder than before.
And ffs, the Asher romanceā¦ on the one hand, the sweet moments (or hotter moments, like the āIāll make you forget your nameā scene) are some of the best romantic moments Iāve seen written, but those get overshadowed by Asher acting like the MC has the plague.
Iām wondering if choosing to be the savior is like the worst choice ever. Maybe if the MC goes full on homicidal and suicidal, itād be happy?

Now toughts and feelings, still on chapter 6ā¦ Still trying to gather strenght to continue (and finish chores)ā¦
It really is between rock and hard placeā¦ Picking to destroy the entire world? That is lot of people who had and hadnāt that coming for themā¦ But still regarded as sorta dick move. And running away? No matter how hard I want to swoop up Fee/Ash and skidaddle. It wouldnāt work in long run, thereās what 100 universes left? You would be living what a year or so hopping every other day when storm picks up. Not a great way to live. Then again, if it wasnāt my fault for starting it, someone else would with a diffrent chain reaction. Maybe it was ment to end and all resistance is just delaying the invenitable.

Iām reading about Asher giving the MC sweet words at some point, kinda?, but not sure if I didnāt get that scene because of my main choices or because Iām a guy and my Asher also is?

Also, I didnāt see fanart I donāt think, so made an Asher doodle.
A bit inaccurate to the in-game art I saw, I think, but I figured sharing wouldnāt hurt.

@EvilChani ohhh, do you remember when the punch got mentioned? That might be a bug- but unfortunately, my fish brain cannot recall at which point I referenced back to the punch. I think I have might found one line- and this one is also fixed now, but not sure If there are more D:
Also- Ash actually is less of āomg MC has plagueā when youāre a Replica Hunter, and will be noticeable closer with the MC. Basically, they still have feelings for you- but Ash represses this as the difference in view on the Replicas simply frustrates and confuses them. Same is with F- but other way around. Those are basically the āangstyā branches in their romance paths
@Aleksa100 thank you for playing I am not sure if I want to apologise for the Angst c: Though Iām just gonna put it out here: there is one (1) sunshine rainbow ending you can get. Itās not all gloom and doom. Not entirely at least :ā)
@TacitLiar AaAA thatās majestic ;O; He looks so tired and dead inside: perfect, JUST like Ash thank you so much, looks super nice And yea, you can get some nice scenes with Ash if youāre a Replica Hunter- and tiny details change as well when youāre m/m & f/f or f/m. Ash is closeted and confused. Closeted, confused AND frustrated if youāre a Replica savior. Of course, it also depends on the branch you are in whether you even get the possibility for a romance scene or not.
