Ah…this is so nostalgic!

Feel like ages since I played the 1st game and apparently…I didnt even make a save .

Best time to start from there , Woot! :relaxed:

The save was only implemented a few months ago, so unless you’ve played it since then, you won’t have one.

Good to know I havent gone sƩnile! Thnx!

I should probably admit I didn’t know it was possible to purchase through the site itself. On my phone, if I click the purchase button, it automatically opens Google Play. I can use the icons to go out to Steam, etc, but nada directly from CoG. I was a little surprised when I used my work PC earlier to check and got something different.

Seems to be an older game issue, maybe, because I tried Asteroid Run and it did give me the CC payment window, versus Weyrwood, which takes me to Google Play.

On mobile, not on a computer web browser?

Yes on mobile. I tried two different browsers on my mobile (Chrome and Firefox) and both trigger the play store on anything older than Asteroid Run. I can do the preorder game on site, but not its predecessor.

Only COGs? (The HGs I looked at still seemed to be full price or will they be on sale later?) Also, I don’t think Oedipus is for sale in the webstore? (I don’t get any option to buy it that way when I looked.)

Yes only COGs.

Yeah; you’ll need to access the website on a desktop.

Alrighty. I just figured I’d pass it along. I’ll try to remember to use my work PC in the future for actual purchases. Prefer y’all to get the most of it you can.

There seems to be an error in the demo, I’m not sure if it’s okay I post it here, so where should I go for this?

Edit: To clarify, one that breaks the game.

If you would, please send it to support AT choiceofgames DOT com. That’s really the only thing ever to do with any bug report.

Now that I replayed Champion of the Gods I came to appreciate how easy the stats were to handle in that one compared to many of the newer games. I hope that’ll be the case in the sequel too.

Is this the right thread to ask a question about the game? if not, please ignore what follows! Also, possible spoilers about the first book ahead…

Champion of the Gods is the first CoG game I played. However, I didn’t buy it because I played it on my ex boyfriend’s tablet one night (it’s what got me into CoG). Now, I clearly remember enjoying it and siding with Daggoras. I was very excited to hear about the sequel being released and I’ll definitely buy it but when I played the demo, I had to pick the standalone version and when I reached the part where I reminisce about the Weavers’ cave, I had no option to side with Dagggoras like I did in the first game. So my question is: if I buy the first game now, play it again the way I did, and then import the save, will I get that option? I’d very much like for my character to still have sided with him…

We won’t know until the actual game is released … it all depends on what the author decided to bring forward from the first game. The fact that the option was not in the stand-alone presets leads me to not expect that it will be there … but I’ve been wrong lots before, so we’ll see soon

Jonathan spent a lot of time making all the different endings from Champion importable to Exile.

Go replay Champion and create a save.

Actually, last I checked we could import our character in the demo (which was awesome, kudos to whoever came up with this idea), so it could be checked out without the wait for the full game I think.

Edit: Oh, Jason beat me to it.
