Has anyone had trouble getting the Menage a Trois achievement to show as achieved on the achievements page? Specifically on an iOS device?

I know this game stands alone and makes no direct reference to the events of Crème de la Crème, but where do they each fit into the chronology of their universe? Does one take place before the other?

Noblesse Oblige takes place 2-3 years after Creme de la Creme. I thought a lot about the idea of the MC being an ex-Gallatin student but decided against it in the end - if a bunch of public scandal had happened, or even the CremeMC had married Rosario, it would feel odd not to mention it.

Thank you so much!

This is a little embarrassing to admit, but I’ve actually never played Crème de la Crème. I was thinking that maybe I ought to celebrate the release of Noblesse Oblige by remedying that. I look forward to possibly causing a bunch of scandal that people would still be talking about two or three years later if they’d been there. :kissing_heart:

Not embarrassing at all! If people come to it via the other route, that’s amazing and if you decide to go for it, I hope you enjoy! I was surprised during beta testing how many testers weren’t familiar with the setting - it nudged me to go into more worldbuilding for those who hadn’t played Crème, and made the detail better for Noblesse Oblige in its own right.

It’s actually been on my list to play for a long time - I mean, technically I’d like to play every game in the CoG/HC/HG catalog eventually, but I was especially interested in Crème because it’s an award winner, almost universally beloved, and a school story. Falling in love with the world of Noblesse Oblige definitely kicked it up a few notches, though. And when I had a little extra money last month, I finally added it to my collection - along with Blood Money, Asteroid Run, and a few others by authors whose work I love.

Anyway, I’ve been super stressed lately and I’m ready for a treat. Bring on the scandalous socialite shenanigans!

There’s an interesting glitch that I seemed to have received.

Originally my MC romanced Danelak, but entered a polyamorous route with Pascha. MC first agreed to do Danelak’s Redemption Night task, and agreed to do Pascha’s one. MC followed through with Danelak’s task and then convinced Pascha to not burn down the Manor. At the end, when Danelak and Pascha asked whether MC wanted to come with them, MC chose to stay at the manor. However, during the end scene, the MC is shown tutoring Pascha still, and then in the next scene they receive a letter from both Danelak and Pascha. Then, even more confusingly, the Countess calls MC in and tells them that Danelak left during the night of the fire, a fire which MC has prevented from happening. I found all of this a little baffling, haha, I’m not sure how this managed to happen. I should’ve just gone with them!

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game :). Looking forwards to explore Rys’s route!

Thank you for raising this and apologies that this happened on your playthrough. I’ve sent a fix to the CoG staff, so that should be updated soon. That penultimate chapter is a fiddly one and there’s a lot of moving parts in it - that particular issue slipped through. I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and again I’m sorry that happened - I hope you get to see the proper version once it’s been updated!
