New Hosted Game! "The War for the West" by Lucas Zaper

I’ve done a lot of digging on this topic and haven’t been able to find what is required to get the knowledge option after dying at the Lord’s summit. I saw where someone said that 50 social is required for the social option, but I’ve got 52 knowledge, so there must be either a higher stat required or an additional requirement that I simply am missing. Please help, I’m growing weary of loading my save.

The knowledge option requires Knowledge > 60.

Oh, then her fate is purposefully left hanging in there. You’ll have to wait for the sequel.

It’s 60 > for Knowledge and 50>= for Social. It’s set this way because it’s easier to gain Knowledge through the game.

Speaking of which, here’s an spoilerish sheet that tells where to gain certain stats throughout the game. It’s free to edit so anyone can update it.

Keep in mind that it’s quite old, from the beta testing times, so it might not be entirelly correct. Still, I think people might be interested in it.

Also if you want the information, with 60+ fighting skill you can kick all their butt.

Dang, my character is a 50, 52, 30, and my save is after reading all the books ( even the merchant bonus ones), holding every court, etc. Yeah, I exhausted all stat bonuses (even watching my soldiers train) and was using my empty library to move forward each day. Welp, looks like I’m finally going to have to use the cheat mode.

So my first play through I got killed at the Summit. This play through made sure to get fallen star. Assuming it is not a good idea to touch it?

I didn’t touch it, but it does have poisonous properties.

I noticed. I hired the famous blacksmith from Dullas to forge a sword of it and he showed up dead. I’m curious if the MC could become infected with whatever madness is spreading through the north if they touch it?

Does anyone know who the potential marriage candidates are besides Lord Dannel and Lady Danna (assuming if I had a male character)

Thanks. I only recognize a few names there, but I’m sure I’ll see the rest as I continue playing.

You may actually touch it. However, you must send a piece to the alchemists, So they can make a proper scabbard for your sword.

The falling star comes from above, not from the north. Therefore, the northern fever And the falling star must have different properties. The northern fever will make you mad. The poison from the falling star will make you dead.

Anyone who spends their time near fallen star will die of poison. Be it you, noyedas, blacksmith or your old teacher. Only alchemists can provide proper answer. So you better trust them for they provide many different things in your time of need.

I have a question of my own. Is killing the beast really that important, Or can you actually use the beast against the enemy?

I think there is an option to let it be bc it killed enemy scouts or trespassers. But other than that I don’t think it can be used.

if you killed the monster, you can get an otherworldly Armor. With star sword and this Armor, you would feel like a legend
