Hi,
This is my first post, sorry if I don’t make much sense or asking a question already answered.
I wrote a ChoiceScript story as part of of my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification). I am aiming to answer ‘To what extent can an interactive fairy tale honour the original fairy tale?’
As such, I wrote my fairy tale but I need to be able to show it to people and have them be able to read through it. Primarily friends for feedback and then my teachers to mark it for my project grade.
I was thinking as I wrote my story on CSIDE, I could just ask them to also install it and then import the story for viewing.
In short, I would like to know if there is a way to host my story (online or otherwise) that is easily accessible?
The easiest way to share your game is to upload it onto DashingDon.com. From there you can simply copy and paste the url for your game and it will be freely accessible to anyone with the link without them needing to create an account.
If you need help or have questions, don’t hesitate to ask us. We’ll all do our best to help you.
There’s actually a pretty established way of hosting these so people can play—you can upload to dashingdon.com and hand out the link to everyone who needs to take a look.
Once you have uploaded it, Dashingdon should give you the option to playtest. If you hit that, it’ll take you to a window with your game in it. Copy the link and you should be good to go!
