I also reviewed Lords of Aswick.
Thank you, added!
Big thanks for doing this every month, Harris. Helps to keep us all honest and on our toes. It is a goal to try and make the list and get an update out each month!
Really happy to be doing it, though I hope it isn’t putting pressure on people! It helps me keep track of things to play which is nice too congratulations on all your hard work!
I feel like I cheated with this one, since my update to Walls of Natrun wasn’t anything substantial. But I’m about to release another update within an hour or two, so it doesn’t matter in the slightest.
I think it is fair for me to end the month by reporting I think I have finally managed to sort out the worldbuilding/plot knot I had that was caused by me having three variants of the same character running around the same story (not a multiverse issue, just that I tend to reuse my characters a lot and my space opera is something I smashed a bunch of my old ideas together to form).
(Also my typing is atrocious today.)
The issue was that I had this one weird ship that ended up being from two different space empires at the same time, but I think I have the thing working now.
Hello everyone. May is ending. I finished my tesis and I’am very happy. I wil be more active.
Congrats!
Thanks.
thank you, Harris! big love and bigger hugs <333
Congratulations!!!
A bit late to reply to this post, but I’m still working my way through the thread. I relate to this a lot—it’s definitely taken some of the magic out of reading for me. It’s like peeking behind the curtain at a theater and watching the crew scramble to keep the show going. Ever since I read K.M. Weiland’s book on plotting, I can’t unsee story structure. Now it’s less “oh no, the prince’s parents were killed, that’s tragic,” and more “ah, there’s the Inciting Incident.” I kinda miss being blissfully unaware.
I actually managed 50,000 somehow, so I’m really pleased with this. I also found the time for a mini-break at the end of the month, so I’m hoping I’m a little more refreshed than I actually feel, but only time will tell.
It’s June.
