March 2025 Writer Support Thread

Thanks for the mention (and as always for the update digest) @HarrisPS!

My month was really productive considering how insanely busy I was irl. My game’s out in the world and I’m so grateful to say the feedback has been positive! Development of the sequel is going well. I’m on chapter 2 and while I still need to edit a lot of chapter 1 (and work out the early-plot kinks), I’ve been able to steer everything in the direction I wanted and I’m really liking how it’s shaping up. See you guys in next month’s thread! :revolving_hearts:

Life got busy so couldn’t find time to meet my goals. Only just returned to it.

Hope everyone had a good writing month.

I did not reach my goal of writing half a chapter, this month was chaotic. But the chaos simmered down a bit last week and I managed to cobble 15 000 words together. I’m enjoying the writing so much! It’s just fun.

Good luck to everyone for April!

I didn’t make a goal this month because I think I achieved maybe 5/25 of my last goals or something. But I probably should have because I wrote 16k words this month, more than I’ve written in a month in about…4 years? Next month, I’m gonna shoot for even more. My plan is to put Chapter Seven of Meteoric out tonight:

I was on track to finish my goal in the last couple of days of March, but my tendinitis is acting up again (my fault), so I’ll have to take a little break.

Thanks for the mention! I’ve already managed to write around 13k words of chapter 4 with a few very productive days. I really want to cut down the time between updates by half. Good luck to all the other writers out there, as well!

Thanks for the mention! I’ve had a good month, writing every day and showing no signs of slowing down. Really enjoyed getting some feedback this month and working towards getting my first update released in the next week or so. I’m thinking I’ll aim to get one update released per month, but we’ll see how we go.

Bring on April!
