Hmm, I keep running into that section that says I haven’t completed enough objectives to move forward into the game after getting the flash drive from Morgan. Do I have to complete all the objectives or just a couple of them? I just want to know if Morgan will come back to me
@orkwut Here’s a quick checklist of what you need to do in order to bypass that area. Run through that list and make sure you get the minimum amount of objectives needed.
Well to be fair, you spent a lot more time with the team than with the actual RO so it’s a bit more likely that the player would feel attached to one of your teammates. I am really fond of Luiz to be honest because his reaction to holding my hand after the night club thing was really sweet. Even if it wasn’t meant as anything romantic, it was nice to know that Karin isn’t the only one that he cares about and that he also cares about the MC
Ah that scene. I completely forgot about it actually I think I wanted to write that as him being nice to the PC since the PC had just caught up to Morgan and may or may not have been in a shock. Also he was supposed to be confused at first before just not caring about the confusion because he’s more worried about you. He cares about you as much as he cares for Karin by this point and it’s definitely platonic caring, rather than romantic caring but who’s to say what happens after the ending?
Can anyone tell me how you can get the Morgan RO? I’ve tried a few times but can’t get it.
I feel like it makes the moment a lot stronger that it was platonic caring and not romantic caring. He may have already shown it before that he cared about the PC when he and Karin came to visit the PC while they were on leave. He said that he was just bored but it did feel more like he was worried. It made the hand holding feel a lot more significant because he openly showed that he cared for the PC. Even at the end I like to think that nothing romantic happened and that we just broke into a Zoo or something like that
tl;dr: I think it was very well written
You have to kiss Morgan at the begnning or do very well at the flag exercise to ask Morgan out.
That moment when I kept picking the wrong option in the game x[ thanks cell phone. Thank you for answering this incredibly stupid question.
Sooo what are the guidelines to romance Samar? So far the only one I have achieved is the makeshift phone in the president mission.
Go to the Museum instead of going after the president.
Go out with her instead of going out with your friends.
- Talk to Samar during the president mission.
- Go to the museum during the president mission and help Samar to escape (not difficult to do).
- Stay behind at the base during Chapter 6 and call Samar instead of hanging out with your team-mates.
- If at least 2 of these conditions are met, then when you are talking to Samar in Chapter 6, they will ask you out and choose to answer yes.
- Go out with Samar in Chapter 8
- Choose to do Edgar’s mission in Chapter10 and choose to go out with Samar.
I have play the game trying to get to the end about 10 times and the place keeps getting blown up. I don’t get it because it seems like I passed all the objectives.
The final chapter has a countdown timer that keeps track of the objectives that you’ve earned. Certain options just serve as time-wasters and as you proceed, the timer also ticks down so keep that in mind.
Hi,
I will ask and re-post a question here that has not received an answer (at least none that I can find) in the Beta discussion thread. It is directly related to the romance so I think it should fit in here very well.
Is there any way what-so-ever, to save Morgan on the shadow path? I am not talking about saving them from a worse fate or something, I am talking life or death. Especially as a romance, I wish there would or would have been an option - you know, power of love and all that - but I haven’t been able to find anything. So, I have tried around a lot haven’t found an option. And to spare myself the frustration to see him go over and over again, I’d like to know if I should revert back to Pirates …
Define ‘save’. To me the ending were Morgan doesn’t die counts as a happy one, but there seem to be people who see it as a bad ending.
The spoilers can be hidden by putting the spoilery stuff between
and
, minus that one additional space.
That’s what I mean with life and death situation.
My last playthrough, I finally managed to get things right, didn’t lose anyone anywhere, got his messages, talked to him during the clear moments and disabled the shadow armor … yet he simply drops dead.
Mind you - if he was to become a shadow for good and kill off his former friends - only then would I consider him dying good. But we destroyed the armor. I wanted a happy ending, not a memorial and some hallucination after the meeting.
I like happy endings - endings where you can save them against all odds. I have enough drama in my real life.
And can you please tell me how to hide spoilers … (thank you!!)
In that case, sorry to disappoint then. Morgan never gets a happy ending in the Fiend route. The human route is the best one for a happy ending, if that’s what you’re looking for.
If you dont knock Morgan out, she will die on the Shadow Fiend path, even if she was able to gain control for a time.
To save her you need to capture her but she will still have a Shadow Fiend inside her.
Only in the pirate side you can have Morgan back
Oh, that’s a bug. It should be fixed in the next update. More people have run into that one already. It is possible to save him/her on the shadow route (though probably not in the way you’d imagined).
I think I just did?
It should show up like spoilery stuff
Alright, thanks for the info everyone.
I figured as much - am a little sad about it, but ok.
I liked the shadow fiend threat - I like to fight against them, because they are something unknown and incomprehensible - but if it means not getting Morgan back - I’ll stick with pirates. At least I have a chance to recover him from that.
Morgan is the only one that really captured me - both Samar and Larry were a bit too happy/squirrely for me.
So thanks again for the help on this matter. I appreciate it.
