@Tpryor As @stsword said, you need to kiss everyone (except the stranger) in chapter 3.
Thank you! Granted, I didn’t come up with that one; saw it somewhere and wanted to include it
@Julasu To be fair, that only happens if you don’t accept the challenge, which is why it results in a bad ending.
Each chapter 5 route has a good and a bad ending. (a bad ending doesn’t necessarily mean the MC isn’t happy though, just that they don’t end up with their chosen RO for one reason or another)
Leon/ie and Noel/le have two distinct stories that differ depending on if the urge exists or not.
Yeah, fair point. I’ll need to work on that
Good catch, I’ll find those typos!
Yes
Well, it’s sorta left up to interpretation, but I would say yes.
To competite in challenge made by Leon/ie urge match, would be beneath Mc because Mc is already their partner. That is unfair and crazy to make Mc rival with another person if they are already in established relationship. ( also they could break up with us , not to cheat if their affection with Mc was not strong enough)
Julia/Julien have their doubts if their love is real (with and without urge, which is very fair) but this can be worked out because there is no question about being unfaithful one to another.
I adore Tris/tan ending because I was not expecting to like them but ending was so great. I failed MISERABLY the horse ride. MC felt from the horse, and with Tris/tan they ended up in the mud.
I thought ’ okayyy they will leave Mc, the story with Leon/nie repeats itself ’ … And then Tris/tan did not get mad, more they started to laugh and cherish the moment. I was MORE than positively surprised.
In the end the guy who I liked the most disappointed me, and the guy whom I did not considered at all, turned out to be great what a twist !
Well, my idea was that Leon/ie is a person who follows their heart, which is why they didn’t care about the Urge as they were already interested in the MC. BUT when they met someone they admired (a world-renowned athlete) who is interested in dating them, their love for that person and their love for the MC came to a clashing point.
Yeah, I get it that was Leon/nie decision at that point , to choose between their partner and new the urge match . And Leon/nie have been talking that they do not care about the urge so i trusted them and left padlock intact. i hoped that without competiting over Leon/nie, as if they were nice and pretty thing to have ,Leon/nie will choose us anyways because their affection would be strong as they promised
Here’s what I was thinking with each of the ROs’ routes and why they are the way they are:
With Julia/n, they are all about ideas and beliefs. They are devoted to the MC from the get-go, because they love the idea of the Urge and the MC, but do they like the MC for who they actually are? That’s the question their chapter 5 route postulates.
With Leon/ie, they follow their heart and passions, which makes them immune to the idea of the Urge as they follow what they love, but what if they meet someone who they are more passionate about than their current partner? That’s the idea for their route A.
With route B, it’s simpler – it just focuses on Leon/ie being a risk-taker and whether or not the MC is willing to, literally and figuratively, “follow them into the fire”.
With Tris/tan, they are the exact opposite of Julia/n. They are aloof at first, but develop true feelings and attachment for the MC, which is why their route is less about them as a person and more about their background. Their route questions whether the MC is interested in Tris/tan for their personality or for their wealth and power.
And then there’s Noel/le… They are the opposite of Leon/ie as, if Leon/ie is all about passion and excitement, then Noel/le is all about coziness and familiarity. Admittedly, I find them the hardest character to write as they are the only RO to have a history with the MC, so it’s a bit harder to establish things about them without resorting to exposition all the time. Their routes basically boil down to how serious the MC is about their relationship. Will they live together or remain friends with benefits?
WOOOW, im trying to do like all the rutes, and right now im doing Leon rute and HAHAHAH IM SOO PISSEEEED
LIKE MC really need to fight for his love? LOL it so childish and inmature of his, im not saying this as a critique, its kinda realistic with his personaity, but ahhhh im so pisseeeeeed MC have another four people who have the urge towards him (my MC is male) and he wanted to believe that the Urge its not necessary the only option, for that he tried to Leon, who thought something similar ONLY TO BE DUMPED AT THE FIRST OPORTUNITY HAHAAHAH THE IRONY There will be some kind of “revengue”? or like try new relationship with others even when Leon have the other person by his side and some drama between your new couple and old couple? Or that is a lot of trouble (cause truth be told, it must be a nightmare to do that lol) but the way he broke with me by MESSAGE LOL I CANT I REALLY CANT HAAHHA YOU WERE MY FAV MEN, MY FAAAAAAV MC only atract the weirdest or the worst lol and I love it
@Guerra Just to be clear, Leon/ie is actually my favorite RO in the game. I wasn’t trying to assassinate their character or anything. Quite the opposite!
Nonono, i dont want you to misunderstand me, what I wanted to express was frustration about the way Leon manage his urge-mate, i mean, if I don’t choose to “fight” he lose his love for me and he doesn’t even bother breaking up with me in a decent way, he goes on a date and then breaks up with me, it’s kind of frustrating :(, but realistic crying in spanish
I was only expressing my thoughts in that moment, not criticizing at all, my english is not good enough for me to writte all in a decent way, so maybe is for that reason you think I was implying you "“assessinate their character” but that was not my intention…
I have a question tho, in the code there is an option *if ((leoname = 1) and (nsfw = true)) #Who can please Leon sexually! but how do you reach that scene?? I really can’t do it
I did Leon’s route first, but got rid of the Urge. And it was cool! Spoilers…
Went on vacation, but a cat was in a burning building and he climbed up to save it, telling my MC to stay behind. Needless to say, she went, too. They saved the cat, then got stuck and thought they’d die, but the firemen rescued them. No fighting for him! They didn’t have sex, though, because he poo-pooed it in the burning building and my MC felt stupid pushing it, lol.
You had great adventure ! Thats why i liked Leon/nie i havnt played this route i dont have heart after seeing how Leon/nie treated Mc in the urge route
Thankfully, Mc and Tris/tain had as just exciting date as Leon/nie ! Who would not want to almost break their spine, be covered in the mud, worring to be not enough for them for failing, only to be greeted by Tris/tain honest laugh and happines that they almost died ? .
I agree the urge rout for L was brutal and a bit cruel if you don’t fight for her. I know the dumped scenes aren’t meant to be happy but still it was a bit much for me.
Omg, gotta LOVE the ending for the crazy chick!! Like, okay betray the best friend then proclaim your love for your new GF and then oops, all the other ROs “go missing”. I couldn’t help but chuckle at that, and then swoon over the massive bouquet of flowers she brought me.
Excellent way to end it for that RO, felt kinda bad though. You know, because of the bestie
Wow, two pages in and I was hooked. This is exactly the type of read I needed for a lazy Thursday afternoon, when my anxiety is preventing me from getting on top of my work. For starters, I effing LOVE the fact that we just straight up got a cafe because our boss is a fool in love. Also, damn, a Jules Verne reference in the wild? Unexpected but very sweet!
I’m guessing you’re a native French speaker? Some of the English sounds…foreign. I got used to it pretty quickly and it actually feels like a nice quirk. I did spot a couple of errors and will mention them together once I’ve done a few more playthroughs.
Seriously, I adored this irreverent and cute game. I really liked Julia/n but they seem too much like a golden retriever for me to romance them. Noel/le is absolutely wonderful and feels like the most ‘canon’ romance to me, given that they have been attracted to us both with and without the Urge. Leon/ie is hilarious! I cannot believe the way to stay with them is to either sex them up in a burning or compete to sexually please them with a random stranger. I sort of felt put off by them throughout the playthrough anyway. Poor policeman. Poor Tris/tan. Speaking of Tris/tan, I’m a huge fan of the grump with a soft heart trope. It was very weird trying to romance them though, because they weren’t attracted to us despite the Urge. And then there’s the detective (Pierre in my playthrough). Ahh, Pierre, Pierre, Pierre. I will force you to love me, just you wait. Hey can we have an option to kill the fucker in ‘self defence’ by any chance? I only say this because I’m super offended on behalf of the spouse, Noel/le, and MC, and I know Western Europe doesn’t mete out the death penalty to anyone..
Also, did anyone manage to solve the mystery of the padlock? Ah, heck, I’m going to have to code dive, aren’t I?
Yeah, it probably does, since English is my second language. My native tongue is Russian
Thank you! That would be very helpful!
Yup, that’s pretty much their character summed up perfectly!
That’s very interesting as I actually find them the hardest to write because the MC is already supposed to know them fairly well, so it’s harder for me to establish things about Noel/le without relying too much on exposition
To be fair, the sex part is optional!
Well, there is a way for them to die if Tris/tan is the one who saves the MC, because in that case the stranger gets killed by the police
Admittedly, there isn’t a confirmed answer in the game, but if the padlock is kept, then the MC gets to see a dream where they see the memories of two lovers who found each other thanks to the padlock (the memories the MC gets to see depend on their chosen gender)
