There is some overlap in our guides but I was going for lowest possible timer (3 and 4 is what I got for Saboteur and Royalist respectively), so you have made a few decisions that impact the end timer negatively, its still a solid guide ofc, so I will add it as a casual player guide and cite you :slightly_smiling_face:

Should go to the capital or stay in the estate in chapter 2

Based on my playthroughs it seems you need to join the royalists early and also pull off a decisive victory to get the Queen’s blessing otherwise you are just made an Earl or not even that if you fail. Also btw did you have a link to see the code for the epilogue?

I did that at least 3 times so far and I didn’t get the royal assent. And besides, it seems like someone already figured out the issue.

oh interesting, were you made Earl of Castermine? Not sure if you can get assent and be made earl at the same time. Whats the issue?

Yes, I got the earldom every time I did the playthrough. I’m not sure why because I remember getting both in the demo but it seems not possible to receive both in the released game but it probably has something to do with the reputation.

As I said, earlier, becoming an earl negates, any need for royal consent, because you are automatically made of equal stations

True and the epilogue does reflect on the MC thinking about the marriage to Kat is now possible after Isobel offers Castermaine to them.

I understand that part but wouldn’t the Cortes still need to approve since the marriage would be combining two houses? In the other ending the Queen explicitly gives you approval and says the Cortes wont be an issue.

Yeah, if you have romance flags with her triggered, the MC almost asks the queen if she gave him the earldom just for that. I don’t think approval is necessary, no.

The Lords of the Cortes are now loyal to only Isobel because she hung all of Wulfram’s allies who stayed in Aetoria and foolishly thought they could get away with it.

For the MC who’s a national hero with a decent reputation who just won the Battle of Aetoria and Isobel’s trust, they may have no choice but to approve of the match.

Also, this, the Cortez is in the queen’s pocket at this point, so whatever she does is going to get rubber stamped

Do you even need Big Reputation to get Earldom if you Romance Katarina ? especially High Romance with Katarina ??

IIRC it just need Royalist inf = 40 and Romance Flag

Oh, I thought it was reputation, not royalist influence. But yeah, either you get permission or you get the earldom which negates any need for permission.

I’m not good with numbers and definitely not the right person to ask but if you need to know, my reputation was a little over 60 before I won the battle. After the battle was won, it bumped up to 72 which is pretty close to when I started the game at 75 rep.

But I did all of the Kat romance options and ended the game with both Royalist and Reform clubs considering me a leading voice of their clubs before Wulfram’s coup.

Ah maybe It because I have Low Royalist Inf since I pay the cheapest Saint Octavia

Aight I try to buy the Former Trading House for %+25 Royalist inf, it is just that I cannot Vote for Good Estate Treatment since My MC is from Wulfram Region.

If it helps, you should try to get on the Army Reform Commission after Isobel offers you a seat. Vote for Palliser on junior officer training, vote against Castermaine because he wants to get rid of officer training which is a foolish idea to me, and vote not to compromise the commission. And for the Garing guns, stay out of the debate and vote for limited adoption. That way you get more royal influence and your reputation doesn’t drop and the commission will recommend several cavalry heavy ideas such as junior officer training.

1st at 39 and 2nd at 49 atleast lead to a failure. 2nd has been higher but 39 is the highest I’ve had the 1st squadron at so far.

That’s strange. My Second Squadron was at 51 or 52 discipline after I picked all available options for it and I charged the Grenadier Square without bloodshed and I didn’t fail it. Maybe the minimum for that scene is 50 discipline?

Okay I took a screenshot of my 1st and 2nd Squadron and there are the stats. I picked the same stats at least 3 times and didn’t fail the charge so hopefully this helps you. Also should mention that I picked the top 20 worst and gave the rest to 1st Squadron
