There isn’t any that’d be officially a thing, at least at this point. MC can technically get involved with more than one person, but given the nature of the setting it’s more than likely there’ll be requirement to make a choice down the road (or the other characters will make that choice themselves)
I mean you can romance Welles and Katarina, But it probably end Badly Lol.
I think (although not tried) you can also combine either of these (or both?) with romancing Marcus, But since he’s getting married that one probably gets cut short eventually.
Marcus is getting married??? Also for anyone who has played the game what is the difference between all the paths? Aetoria path, Unified path, etc? I don’t get it.
Imagine in Wars going for the trifecta of Isobels friends by trying to romance Kat, Welles, and Garrett at the same time
.
And if i remember correctly you have the chance to flirt with Ravenstone when you hang out with Warburton so you could do a play through where you really go out of your way to piss the circle off as much as possible.
He gets married at some point in Lords (very much against his wishes), you can have discussion with him about it during the ball, and it’s mentioned in a letter you receive afterwards.
“Aetoria path” refers to events which happen if MC moves to the capital early in the game. “Estate path” is the opposite, it’s a series of events which can be triggered while MC stays at their estate. “Unified path” refers to part of the game after MC is recalled in active service and no longer has a choice where he wants to be.
Just go ahead and ask, that’s what the thread is for after all :v
You’re an angel, fsix, thank you so much for answering all my questions!!! ( :
Could I ask you 1 more, please?
How to avoid bankruptcy? should I take a loan for 1000 each time? I’m sorry but I’m having a really hard time with the estate debts, crying for fictional debts rn.
Do you know anything else about the romance with Marcus? Does the relationship continue or is a of-the-moment-thing? I know it doesn’t end with a happy ending, I think?? but can they still see each other? romantically?
If Marcus sent the letter about his marriage is too late to start a relationship?
If you are struggling with you debts, raise the rents.
If you are in the city, rent a smaller house.
If you are in the estate, start with the manor then the roads upgrade, don’t the major projects.
Thank you so much, Urban!
Only the author really knows at this point whether there’s going to be some continuation here, despite marriage(s) (it’s potentially possible, since the characters are likely to run into each other, taking part in the war effort) The confession takes place during the ball at MC’s estate (you receive the letter afterwards) and without it the window to start the relationship probably closes but, again, only the author knows for sure.
Thank you again for answering all my questions! Ouch, the letter from Marcus with so much longing broke my heart, completely, hopelessly.
In Guns, don’t send any money home. That gives you a hefty sum at the start of Lords so you can borrow as little as possible.
If you did 2nd Kharangia, don’t bother with the LTC commission if you are planning to go Royalist (perhaps even if you go Wulframite). That should save you enough cash as well to tide you through much of Lords. I assume you are going Royalist since Wulframites are bailed out of debt by Wulfbucks in Chap 6, if you are in Aetoria.
Borrow as little as possible and keep interest to 2% per annum. Borrow only in 1000 crown increments if borrowing is really necessary.
Never lower rent. Keeping it the same or raising it are both acceptable strategies with trade-offs.
There are more advanced strategies which ignore sone of those points (e.g. borrowing to fund Shipowners investments), but these should work as a basic path forward. Even in those cases, you still want to keep your interest as low as possible as it is the debt which can kill you.
Just an Advice, Don’t send all your money to MC Father in Guns to have easier time in Lords, and use that money to Upgrade your barony
Aetoria = Roads
Wulfram = Marketplace
Cunaris = Field Clearance lv 1
Salt Coast = Cottages
Don’t Raise rent, just make it stay same
Upgrade Your Manor (repair it no need refurbished)
If you have extra money Upgrade Walls to level 2
Focus on Respect and Prosperity, just make sure the Contenment not to low, it is ok if it not too high.
Thank you both!!! I’m full of questions, I’m very sorry!!! What is inf_royalist? I’m trying to stay neutral but I rather pick the Queen’s side than Wulfram.
-
#“We should seize the initiative, attack Wulfram now, before he is ready.”
- leannejouwe %-10 and lefebvre %+10
-
#“We should bide our time, see what Wulfram does first.”
- inf_royalist %+10
-
#“I do not suppose we might still negotiate?”
- leannejouwe %+10 and inf_royalist %-10
What would be the best answer to pick?
inf_royalist is your influence in the Royalist faction. Essentially how liked you are by the Queen and the people who support her.
It’s hard to tell which choice is the best currently since we aren’t sure how important Leannejouwe is actually going to be so I always choose the “bide our time” option to boost rep with the Queen.
Becoming Kian’s pet may be a viable strategy in the next game, we’ll have to see, but leannejouwe may be replaced by a military attaché, so who knows how much his favorable opinion will carry over to that guy.
Thank you so much!!! <3
Let’s be honest, the real question is whether they’ll be a romance option. That’s the primary reason people choose to suck up to elves and other unmentionables.
I didn’t even think about him being a romance option. The whole ‘tanking my homeland’s economy and then refusing to take an active part in the civil war you accelerated’ thing seems like a bit of a barrier for any of the characters I run lol.
