Ohh man I was just re-reading the old thread. Apparently, we get a pet magical creature next book. Not sure if pet dragon’s an option or not though.

the only one i remember as a pet is a phantom cat
Frost bear, hellhound, phantom cat and phoenix are the options that I remember

It’s still in development so when Dream comes back we could probably push even more options.

I was thinking dragon… but I’m pretty sure everybody was thinking dragon. I want a pet manticore or hydra.
I wonder how the Basilisk would work. Most of the other pet options seems pretty small and kind of domesticated and I really want something incredibly huge and dangerous to raise.

Pretty sure most of the options will be babies. I wonder if we can ride any of them when they grow up. I’m probably going to main Magician so having a flying pet Manticore would be cool.

Author has confirmed that the pets will grow into a bigger size on the blog. And the frost bear… yeah, that’s big.

I was gonna choose the phantom cat too! But I might pick phoenix instead.
It also makes a star appearance in the first game on vacation with Astrid and Altair!
A basilisk sounds cool, but can we afford it and what are we going to feed it?
Still a guard animal that can turn pesky paparazzi and paternal relatives to stone, or at least use the threat of it to keep those at a distance might come in handy.
So are the basilisks here more snakelike or more the reptile rooster variant?
Otherwise there is always one of those adorable little phantom kitties Cy was feeding and it would give my mc an excuse to be calling “little kitty cat” at least several times per day.
