Keeper of the Sun and Moon (Discussion)

When you chose psychic abilities in second year i always get sera as partner because its says that i was never tested for control magic i dont understand why i tried many things but still got bo idea why it is like that

Chapter 11, right? If MC is a non-celestial (not a cambion nor a nephilim) with at least 15 in cunning stat, you’ll always partner up with Sera.

Also, Sera has no idea that MC is capable of control magic in the first place, iirc.

Thanks you very much

What would be the “best” stats to prioritize as a Kitsune? Fighting for shifting effectiveness in book 2 and Cunning? Intelligence?

Cunning, intelligence, willpower, elemental manipulation

Ty, which one of those do you recommend taking the big boost for in chapter 2? I’m having difficulty raising enough of my many stats to pass the game checks, plus I want to have a good setup for porting to book 2.

I’m RO’ing Sera is that matters.

Cunning for sure

Really depends on what you want to do. My kitsune character works perfectly fine with willpower and elemental manipulation and far more intelligence than cunning.

So to enjoy the game I’d say pick what you want to pick- do you want to scratch enemies with your claws? Play with fire? Outwit your foes? Mind control and illusions? This is a game, the point is to enjoy it, so choose the options you’ll have fun with.

Then focus on two stats so you’ll have both the stats to succeed and double the chances that the game will give you a preferred option in a challenge.

For the most part, it seems to me, that the various race options is really about giving you more options than just making you better at something. It doesn’t seem like say being a kitsune with Fighting 50 is really any more effective than a Hunter with Fighting 50, just one will have claws to fight with and another will have a sword or something.

So it’s not like the game will punish you if you say wanted to make a keeper who is a drakaina who is really a huge nerd with a genius IQ who is really into potions and ritual magic, the game just won’t give you any special options. Although now that I think about it a drakaina using alchemy to give themselves pseudo-breath attacks would have been cool. But that is neither here nor there.

So you can’t dare Katia as a human? I tried twice and got no results.

You can

I have done it. It is just really hard and tiresome. I had to do almost twenty play throughs before getting to date her

Murder Siren Softie Fam for the win.

The title of the thread cool Sun And Moon :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

please trigger warnings oh my god the disloyal nephilim branch

hate. do not want.

i just wanted to roleplay being a human dealing with species dysphoria. would have gone with any other species if i knew nephilim had all that asdf.

Sorry I’ve posted this three times already, once on a discussion on steam, once in a review on steam, once here. i just want to. emphasize this. please. warn someone before they pick nephilim.

actually warn them about the emphasis on mind control magic overall please?

enjoyed my time with the game barring those bits. it’s really well written and i really identified with my character. but like.
i was honestly wishing there was an option for my character to try to kill herself, because i feel like if that actually happened to me that’d be my reaction.
