Keeper of the Sun and Moon (Discussion)

No. The author didn’t code any poly routes because it’s too complicated. But you can break up with your RO from book one and date someone new in book two.

Thank you. So, if i say yes to Astrid in chapter 4, it locks me out of other romances, right?

Yep. She will be your girlfriend all the way through book 1. If you wanna date someone new you can break up with her at the start of book 2 and pick someone else.

I have a question, I remember reading it somewhere but I am unsure how to get it. Something involving Reyna. I heard besides the teammates having to drag you away from her if you decide to end her you can have it be a way of like, your character crying while doing it/less gung ho? If so, what stats do I need up for it, and past what levels?

Low sanity if I remember right

You need to have low sanity to brutally kill her and high sanity to be shocked and shaken.

That explains it, I was thinking it was tied to kindness at first. Thank you, Kamer, and Nm both.

The low sanity version is fantastically visceral and really helped me define my MC’s path going through the rest of the series.

When Sera mentions that Astrid has romantic feelings towards someone after the fortune teller, who is it? (I get that even if i chose to no accept Astrid’s invitation to go out earlier in the game)

Where is the sanity stat?

It’s a hidden stat

It’s hidden. If you wanna lower it just make sure your MC studies a lot, trains a lot and never slacks off. If you wanna have a high sanity stat make sure your MC gets to rest and don’t over-exert them with schoolwork or work in general.

It’s always the MC if you are close with Astrid. Just because you decline her advance early on doesn’t mean she is completely over it(like irl) which is why you can still ask her for a ball date later.

Keeping sanity while still being competent is a challenge though. 8/10 times I would accidentally play as a low sanity MC if I want to have decent success rate.
Funnily enough one of the rare times I keep my sanity was when playing as my meme MC named “Ded Pepe” which is a human that have a life mission of giving everyone (and yes it means EVERYONE)the middle finger. I’m surprised that they are still alive and not disowned, kicked out, left to rot, or even turned to stone(It gets really dicey when it came to Castella’s and Gisela’s turn). It was a grueling, hilarious, and hurtful run which I didn’t save(unfortunately?) and have no intention of re doing.

Thank you. Since you seem to know the game, got any tip on the best/Worst stats to focus on? (Yes, i am a weirdo who likes to see the best and worst paths just for the kicks)

None of the stats are really bad, if you want to make things interesting, just play with low sanity

High intelligence and focusing on studying in Book 1 gives you high elemental manipulation, high potions, and high sigils/runes, which are all very useful stats. Book 2 gives you more opportunites to increase willpower, fighting, and elemental manipulation. There aren’t really any “worst stats” but as the person above said, low sanity can be fun. If you want my opinion, I think cunning is the most useless stat in most cases, so if you’re looking for a “worst” playthrough, my opinion would be focus on cunning and nothing else.

Cunning isn’t useful very often but the few times it is used, it’s extremely extremely extremely useful; it’s helpful with discovering secrets which is why I choose that 15 point cunning boost at the very beginning and forget about it afterwards since it sort of increases on its own; Having 25 cunning around the middle of the first book is when I stop checking on it and I usually have it in the mid to late 30s by the end of the second book without trying to raise it. To be truly honest, I think sanity is the most useless stat because raising sanity means having crappy grades and not being able to explore as much as the game as you could be exploring and the problems with low sanity is pretty fun

My mc doesn’t care about his grades so much as survival at this point, unfortunately any sort of competence and semblance of knowledge have an inverse relationship to sanity.
Like I said I would be happiest with a path where the mc slacks off or better postpones some of their required college courses in favour of training and remedial magic.
He’s young, he has a lifetime ahead of him to learn esoteric academical magical theory, but only if he survives to even grow old.

So, imho, the best way to theoretically raise mc sanity that is not currently in the game would be to essentially transition from being a full-time to a part-time college student, as the mc now has both a demanding job, even more demanding training and lots of trouble on the side I think that, given his circumstances, taking a couple of years longer to graduate is perfectly justified in his case.

Wow…I’d play that but I like Sera too much to hurt her…
