As I recall in book 1 and at the start of book 2 mc buys things with money…what pitiful amount they have and then just when mc starts getting paid real money you are right the mc buys nothing with it, at least nothing specifically mentioned in the story. Mostly because it is apparently one stressed out rollercoaster from that point on for the mc.
If they do so in later parts of book 2 or book 3 it does not spring to memory and I’d have noticed if there was an opportunity to change mc’s style and quality to something better and more on par with the majority of the ro’s.
the only thing they buy is just clothes and that stone to protect them from them nightmares but with the way nessa violated us, we might need a hole lot more to keep us occupied, i can never forget how she fooled me into believing my mc had a child, from all wips, choice of games/hosted games, this was one scene that made me balled my fist to just try to stop the tears works after reading that
Not just fooled you into thinking you had a child but also forced you to kill your loved one to escape the dream world. Honestly Nessa might be top of the leaderboard for pain they’ve caused to the MC after that.
But bruh we still have our love interest, and they being alive is better than a keeper using the kratos method on us, like wtf and along with that our mc will forever be burdened, if the option to have children was chosen in that genjustu madeup reality, they will have the knowledge that what they gave birth to was not real, which will make mc to constantly doubt the relaptionship for they love interest
I think for my mc it was more comical than anything else, but then he romanced Alty and Nessa really gave herself away by making Tiras of all people nice to the mc. Again, even if the mc really was a living god Tiras would still not like us, he’d probably despise us even more, if anything.
That dream really had too many shortcomings for it to really be believable to my mc, Alty’s parents were just the most glaring example as it also fails to account for the fact of Alty’s mom being a reality altering demon herself, another thing my mc knows but Nessa does not.
That really seems to be the main flaw of Nessa’s dream curse, it seems to be built on a profile Nessa made of the mc with the best intel she could get but that intel is still quite flawed.
huh I didn’t know astrid mom was like that but i did know that tiras never liked us, and the ro I chose in the book was seraphina maybe if i had played and chose either them as a ro my mind would have become prepared, knowing in various playthroughs i did in the other 2 books, tiras has never smiled or complimented mc only when mc was a human that chose the path of magic that tiras remark that it was commendable for a human to try to learn magic, in book 1 did he say that
Well it does matter seeing as mc power is close to one snap away of ending the world, and a not happy keeper that is capable of destruction is one that has to constantly keep their emotions in check, I think there is even a achievement that our mc ended the world by accident, idk
That dream is taking a bit too long for my liking, that I started to think it really is the ending. I started to feel scared that it’s sudden, rushed, disappointing ending. From a 100 to 0 real quick.
Glad, it’s not the ending yet. Though, the frostbite and Nessa won’t be glad inciting that much hate from MC. That’s the one and only, and truly unhinged, unbridled anger in him. So, much so that even the ROs (Astrid) can no longer pacify him.
In all honesty, I’m eager to see how things go. Though I do hope for more of an emotional break down and us going ballistic aka yell in the face of our romance/suite crew before fully breaking down sobbing. Haven’t really been a fan of the melencoly or lack of true emotions.
Oh… and not killing Nessa and likely forgiving her for what she did to us, inspite of how cruel it was.

Book 3 is definitely coming around next year or so. And you should really check out the author’s tumblr, it has a lot entertaing asks, short stories and progress update. As for ros, i honestly love all of them lol they are all great and have incredible routes in book 2 but my personal favorite has to be Cyrus and Yakov
I know, I’m sorry! It’s just I I am super late to all the IFs, so I have some great advantage to read some books one after the other. But I do feel you, now I have to wait for sooo many books in different series
