Read a lot of replied but am still not sure. For the parents not to die, a stat has to be 60? Or 55? Or is it only control magic (will power) that has to be 60 or 55?. I really need to know, am considering starting from book 1 again to get the right stats
Iām sure the stat check has to be 60 or above to beat it because I scored near that area for one of checks.
U can beat that monster in other ways besides control magic. Characters that specialises in elemental magic may have trouble here unless u raised another skill as back up
my MC stats: Cunning: 10
Fighting: 35
Elemental Manipulation: 73
Intelligence: 55
Ritual Magic and Potions: 10
Willpower: 45
so what is she struggling with?
Each choice has a different check in situations like these.
Iāll compel him. The wards donāt cover mind magic.- Willpower, rather obvious
I donāt need magic to beat him up. Fighting
Iāll keep him talking until backup arrives. Cunning I do believe
Iāll try to break the wards without hurting anyone. Iām guessing ritual magic
Since my character just failed with a willpower of 55, Iād say as written now you need a willpower, fighting, cunning, or ritual magic of at least 60 to potentially succeed.
I think somebody managed to succeed with ritual magic 30
checked the code:
for willpower, fighting and cunning the stat check is 60.
for ward disabling its intelligence+ritual should equal or higher than 70
I didnāt realize this! Iām on the Roxanna route (with Yakov as RO) so I see a lot of Sera, Astrid and Yakov. Ah so many routes and majors to try to see how frequent character appearances change!
That cunning one should definitely be at least 20 points lower, if not more. I donāt even know if itās possible to get 60, I usually end up with around 40, and thatās picking the 15 point cunning boost during the beginning of the first game
Fighting and ritual magic. They are too low to pass the checks. I believe the parent dying is a hidden achievement
Is it still difficult for primarily telekinesis users to do alright? I recall playing through the demo earlier and the combat options for people with high telekinesis were quite sparse, which seems unusual to me since telekinesis would seemingly be one of the most versatile and powerful skills.
I donāt really like that skill but it has a lot of potential. There are lots of creative ways to use it if u are good at it
I wouldnāt know, for some reason I never go the cunning route.
But realistically, does it seem to anyone else like getting professor blowhard to waste time pontificating seems like it shouldnāt be much of a challenge?
I mean when we question him in jail he all but autographs a copy of his autobiography for us.
So he seems like he really likes the sound of his own voice.
It doesnāt really require a master con artist to get someone to do something they are already inclined to do.
im sorry what?? and all i managed to do is get the keeperās dad die over and over again in my playthroughsā:sob: now i need to rebuild my character stats again smh
also is this the last book in the series or will there be more
This is exactly why I donāt like too many roās. Now author will not have the time or energy to write scenes for everyone. That is doing disservice to those characters. The author should have stick with less roās from the first book if she is going to not write their scenes now. I just hope that is not the case.
Yeah, this is the last game in the series. As for rebuilding a new character, I should probably do the same, but Iāll hold off until the stats get adjusted and then Iāll try again
no way i was hoping there would be another. is there a source where the author said this?
Basically everywhere? The fact that this is a trilogy is a known fact here on the forums, the discord, Tumblr, hell, I think even the first game mentions it
