I’ve hit a few… Let’s call them snags on drakaina route if anyone is interested:
You’d taken two magic theory classes last year with Kerr, an easygoing professor universally liked by students. You recognize the woman he’s talking to, although you haven’t had any classes with her: Professor Petrova. The former duelist’s reputation is radically different from Kerr’s— Astrid in particular had gone on tirades about her being evil—so it’s something of a surprise to see them talking to each other.
- Something messed up here. Since Petrova has Elemental Manipulation MC with elemental ability definitely had those classes… Plus the next scene with her is in class, where she asks MC about peripheral elemental manipulation
Petrova walks in before you can question that, and begins the class without preamble.
“Garathy,” she says sharply. “What’s a limitation of peripheral elemental manipulation compared to affinity elemental manipulation?”
“…What even is an affinity element?”
…and then; while not pursuing any RO’s, but hanging out with Yakov MC meets Petrova again, where she sort of recruit MC to this impromptu taskforce and MC again acts like it’s the first time they meet.
“Close the door behind you,” says Petrova without looking up from her computer.
Yakov complies.
“Hi, I’m Kyle Garathy, I don’t think we’ve met—”
“I know who you are,” she says shortly. She regards you with blank eyes the color of ice. “Sit.”
Then there is the scene in the hospital, when Kol wakes up:
…Seraphina rests her hand on Thalia’s shoulder. “We should go.”
You make your way to the door with the others.
You make your way to the door.
The second “You make your way to the door” is kinda redundant, if you ask me…
- Another snag is with Julian. MC being a drakaina, means that Julian is a drakaina as well. And it has been said that drakaina normally can’t use the compulsion. MC does it, because of being a keeper, but how is Julian capable of it?
There’s a girl sitting next to Danica who you don’t recognize, who looks too young to be among the nephilim elites—she can’t be older than you.
- It’s a cambion party, though.
